Season 2
Sunday Chillaz is a South African music magazine talk show in which soul musicians are interviewed about their private lives in studio, mixed with footage of them, music and videos.
The show reveals the "B-side" of artists: who they are in private, the difficulties they face in their lives and how they use these challenges to create their music.
The show is composed of guest interviews, music videos and magazine inserts.
The presenting duo from the first season, Kede Mkhabela and Kay Sibiya, are retained in the second season and are joined by veteran television presenter, Mncedi "Kaos" Matu (former Selimathunzi host).
In the first episode of the new season, the show features songstress Lungi Naidoo. Born from humble beginnings in the heart of Northern KwaZulu-Natal, from a small town called Kwa-Dukuza in Stanger, from two different racial backgrounds - her father is Indian and her mother is Zulu.
This episode seeks to address issues of inter-racial relationships.
Sunday Chillaz was created by Tshegofatso Selahle and Simangaliso "Owami" Dlamini. The series producer is Mutodi Neshehe. The director is Mangaliso "Big M." Nkosi. The title music was by Lebotja Media.
