Season 2

Authentiek is a South African docu-reality travel series in which Afrikaans singer Mathys Roets goes on a quest to experience a sense of adventure and explore the meaning of living an authentic life beyond your limitations.

Having been left paralysed from the waist down after a motorcycle accident, Mathys is willing to try anything new as he embodies the true meaning of living beyond limits.

The show follows his emotions and thoughts as he tells his own story of these experiences.

Season 2 is produced by ATTV and executive produced by Phuti Nakene. The series producer for Season 2 is Igna Rutte. Season 2 is directed by Stefan Nieuwoudt and the theme music is by Bernie Miller.
