Haunted Homes is a British reality television series produced by September Films in which a psychic, a paranormal investigator and a professor of paranormal psychology spend 48 hours in the homes of families who claim they are haunted.
The series originally aired in the UK on ITV. It premiered with a one-hour special on 26 December, 2004, after which the series aired from 2006-2007. There are 14 hour-long episodes and the special in two seasons.
Haunted Homes airs in South Africa on DStv's Zone Reality channel.
Synopsis
The Haunted Homes cameras uncover the ghostly goings on in the lives of several frightened families, too scared to even live in their own homes.
To help them discover what's behind the haunting, the producers have sent in the experts: psychic Mia Dolan; paranormal investigator Mark Webb, and professor of paranormal psychology Dr Chris French.
They will take over their house for 48 hours in an attempt to find out what's going on and see if they can rid them of their terrifying spirits.
