Season 3
Tabatha's Salon Takeover (renamed Tabatha Takes Over in Season 4) is an American reality makeover television series produced by Reveille Productions in which former Shear Genius contestant and hair salon owner Tabatha Coffey helps failing salons, in a format similar to that of Fox Broadcasting's Kitchen Nightmares.
The series premiered in the USA on Bravo on 21 August, 2008.
Tabatha's Salon Takeover premiered in South Africa on DStv's M-Net Series channel on Friday 18 September 2009, at 21h00. It moved to Vuzu from Season 2 and also aired on M-Net Series Reality, from Season 5. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.
Season 3 premiered on Vuzu on Saturday 3 August 2013, at 22h00. Only the first episode of Season 3 aired, after which the channel replaced the season with Season 5 the following week. There are 10 episodes in the third season.
Season 3
Tabatha's Salon Takeover returns with a brand new season with the no-nonsense and smartly styled Tabatha Coffey, as she transforms the lives and businesses of salon owners across the country.
In Season 3, Coffey hits the road and visits struggling salons in California, Massachusetts, and Texas. For one week, she confiscates the keys to the establishments and takes over as boss, bringing her unapologetic, brutally honest approach to the salon owners and stylists who are in dire need of her skilled business direction.
This season, no task is too big for Tabatha. Whether it's moving into a salon owner's house for the night to stage a family intervention, tackling five slacking owners in one salon, turning around a downtrodden children's salon with stylists who don't like kids or even doing hair, renovating a gay salon with questionable taste, or trekking a salon's staff to the middle of the Mohave Desert to learn to survive as a team - Tabatha gives these struggling salons the major push they need to get back on track.
The salons Coffey will makeover in the California, Massachusetts and Texas areas include:
Mia Bella: San Bruno, California
Christopher Hill: Brentwood, California
Vendome: Houston, Texas
West End: Provincetown, Massachusetts
Avanti: Boston, Massachusetts
Touch of Elegance: Tewkesbury, Massachusetts
Bqute: Palmdale, California
A Star Is Born: Mission Viejo, California
Concerto: Valencia, California
Tabatha's Salon Takeover is produced by Reveille LLC for Bravo. Howard Owens, Mark Koops and Heather Schuster serve as executive producers.
