Season 4
It's My Biz (previously known as Fix My Biz) is a South African reality makeover television series produced by Uphondo Communications and Javelin Productions (Season 1) and Urban Brew Studios (since Season 2) which aims to uplift businesses that have significant challenges through help from the It's My Biz team, in the areas that are proving to be too difficult to overcome.
Known in its first season as Fix My Biz, the show changed its name in Season 2 to It's My Biz so that people could easily identify with the show by taking ownership according to their business needs, as many viewers felt the initial approach came across as a "hand-out".
The series premiered on e.tv on Wednesday 15 September 2010, at 17h30. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.
Season 4 premiered on e.tv on Thursday 18 July 2013, at 17h30. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 13 episodes in the fourth season.
Season 4
It's My Biz is a small-business reality makeover series where, every week, a new small business owner opens up his or her business to the scrutiny of the It's My Biz panel of experts.
An in-studio panel of experts help to unpack the strengths and weaknesses of the business and then provide practical advice to help the owner improve their business.
Often entrepreneurs have wonderful plans but lack the knowledge to grow their business from good to great. It's My Biz aims to fill this gap by making a vast amount of professional and experienced resources available to the business.
It's my Biz not only encourages the spirit of enterprise amongst thousands of unemployed South Africans, it is also a platform to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with business solutions needed to help them on their journey as they venture into the empowering world of business.
Each week, host Andile Masuku takes viewers on a 23-minute journey, which begins with an on-site visit where he helps identify various challenges faced by business owners in the daily running of their businesses.
The journey ends with an in-studio discussion by a panel of experts who provide the profiled business with an implementation plan.
In a major departure from previous seasons, the panelists of Season 4 have been drawn from the highest echelons of South Africa's leading business and entrepreneurship network.
They include Alan Knott-Craig Snr (Cell C), Dion Chang (Flux Trends), Ndaba Ntsele (Pamodzi), Amy Kleynhans-Curd (Dial-A-Teacher), Allan Raiz (Raizcorp), Sindi Mabaso-Koyana (PRASA), Jenna Clifford (Jenna Clifford Designs), David Bate (Leopard Frog Vineyards) and Eddie Keizan (Tiger Wheels), to name just a few.
With the fourth season set to be a game changer, host Andile Masuku will visit several enterprises confronted by various challenges as they take their business to the next level.
Viewers will be taken into the heart of real businesses through a journey of engagement and solution.
