Season 4

NCIS: New Orleans (Naval Criminal Investigative Service: New Orleans) is an American police procedural television series created by Gary Glasberg as the second spin-off of NCIS (the first being NCIS: Los Angeles) which handles cases from the Mississippi River to the Texas Panhandle to ensure the safety of the once hurricane stricken Crescent City.

The series is a drama about the local field office that investigates criminal cases affecting military personnel in the Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence.

Leading the team is Special Agent Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula), aka "King," a native of NOLA who is driven by his need to do what is right.

Working with Pride is Special Agent Christopher LaSalle (Lucas Black), who plays hard but works harder; and Special Agent Meredith "Merri" Brody (Zoe McLellan), a charismatic and tough interrogator who transferred from the Great Lakes office in search of a fresh start.

Supporting them is coroner Dr. Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder), who is as eccentric as she is smart.

This colourful city that harbours a dark side is a magnet for service personnel on leave, and when overindulgence is followed by trouble, Pride's team is at its best.

In the Season 4 premiere, "Rogue Nation": while Pride remains on probation six weeks after his rogue takedown of the corrupt Mayor Hamilton, his team is closely monitored by Supervisory Special Agent Paula Boyd (Becky Ann Baker).

Also, when the FBI arrives to run lead on a case involving a stolen big rig of nuclear waste, the team must secretly investigate from the sidelines.

Gary Glasberg (NCIS), Mark Harmon (NCIS) and Martha Haight are the executive producers for CBS Television Studios.
