Synopsis
The Golden Girls features the lives of four older women who have been widowed or divorced and now live together in a house in Miami.
Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak is tall, witty and very determined. She’s not the glamorous type and finds life rather challenging living with the other three.
Sophia Spirelli Petrillo Weinstock is Dorothy’s mother, the tiny Sicilian who doesn’t think before she speaks. She’s sarcastic, opinionated, has a bad taste in handbags and loves to cook up schemes. She has a good heart and thinks back to the good old days before she came to live with Rose and Blanche.
Rose Lindstrom Nylund is the innocent, corny, dumb blonde from St. Olaf. She has a sweet nature and is kind to others but can be annoying some of the time.
Blanche Elizabeth Hollingsworth Devereaux is the sex-starved, self-absorbed and self-proclaimed beauty of Miami. Though she tries hard, her mind is only occupied with sex.
