Season 8
Britain's most dysfunctional family returns for its eighth season and love is most definitely in the air.
Oldest son Nick moved out some time ago, but daughter/single mum Janey is still there her with her young son Kenzo, as is brainy younger son Michael – now 21, a university student, with bleached hair and a pierced eyebrow.
Completing the family nest are dotty cousin Abi with her beau Roger, and Nick's friend Alfie.
Among the situations hitting the Harpers, Ben is in love - with an extremely large television; Janey has fallen for a new man; and Michael's current squeeze has announced that she's pregnant.
Meanwhile, Ben and Susan's credit card statement highlights their individual secret vices and an armed robbery at the bank brings a new wrinkle to their relationship - when they are held hostage together.
Meanwhile, Michael and Alfie investigate the world of internet dating with mixed success and Abi realises that her true vocation is to become a nun.
As usual, Susan tries to keep a grip on the situation, while Ben usually puts his foot in it.
