Jude decided to leave after she started having health problems. After the immunity challenge she was very weak and was struggling with her health. She stated that she suffers from low blood pressure and if she didn't get red meat or some form of iron in her body she would be useless to her tribe. She asked that they all vote her off.
Aguila faced their second Tribal Council of Survivor South Africa, after losing the immunity challenge.
Mark: Welcome guys to Tribal Council on an incredibly hot and humid night. Brigitte you were kinda singled out with Sam as slightly away from the tribe. How has that situation changed since his departure?
Brigitte: I think that everything is back to how it was in the begining. I was a bit niave, I didn't see myself as being singled out at all. So it was a reality check. I made a mistake. I rectified it.
Mark: Nico, do you think that she redeemed herself in the eyes of the tribe?
Nico: Absolutely. It's a new tribe. She's fallen into a slot like this, exactly how she put it. It's come together. We feel we are a team again. We weren't divided, you know the 5 and 2 issue.
Mark: I imagine that's gonna make the decision tonight incredibly difficult. You guys seem united.
Jude: (whispering to Nico) Tell him.
Mark: You seem like you really gel together. Mzi, what you gonna base your vote on tonight?
Mzi: It's sad in that our vote tonight is gonna be a forced one. I'm saying that in other things came to the fore, that presented us with a member who willingly asked that guys I physically, my health is kinda detoriated and I put myself forward. I you guys can, I'd like to be allowed to go home.
Mark: So hold on, somneone is actually asking to be sent home.
Nico: For medical reasons.
Mzi: For health reasons more than anything else, specifically health reasons actually.
Mark: If everybody in this tribe is going to respect that persons wishes and is gonna vote along those lines, it almost makes this voting process null and void tonight.
Jude: It's me Mark. My blood pressure has dropped tremendously. I see black spots when I get up too fast. I have to hold on to something and stay still or awhile. It feels like my legs cannot carry my weight. It's a disaster for me. My brain says go on but I cannot. If the challenge, whatever the reward may be next time is not helpful to my health, I'm gonna bring the tribe down again with the next immunity, coz I'm not gonna be strong enough. So I asked them to vote for me tonight. I'm the weakest link. So the strong people can carry on.
Mark: I gotta tell you, I can't imagine how difficult the decision is for you because sitting here I am gutted, I really am. The thought of the you leaving the game at this stage, being the incredibly strong woman that you are, is devastating. Vanessa how are you feeling about this?
Vanessa: I'm tearing up already. I mean we've all been completely emotional. Jude is a large member of our tribe. Her character, her physicality are both incredibly strong and we just don't want to loose her.
Mark: Brigitte, I don't want to sound callous here but does the departure of Jude, make you geel like you've been let off the hook slightly at all?
Brigitte: Not at all, no, not at all. The only emotion I am experiencing at this moment with Jude leaving is a great sense of loss and sadness a lot.
Mark: Due to the rather unique situation, Jude, we are gonna break with the tradition of Tribal Council. I'm gonna allow you to say goodbye to your fellow mates. Go ahead.
Jude hugs her tribe mates.
Mark: Bring me your torch please. In accordance with your wishes and agreement with your tribe.
Mark extinguishes Jude's torch.
Mark: You may now leave the Tribal Council.
As Jude walks out of the Tribal Council area, the rest of her tribe stand and applaud her.
Mark: Okay guys I know that was a very difficult moment, not least for Jude. Nobody wants to leave the game. This is Survivor and we will be voting tonight. You may not vote for Jude, she has already left the game. Nico go ahead.
Nico votes.
Mzi votes.
Mzi: Right now we need to really be positive and lately you've been giving me some negative attitude.
Vanessa votes.
Brigitte votes.
Sanele votes.
Mark: I'll collect the votes.
Right guys I'll count the votes.
First vote Nico.
Second vote Brigitte.
That's one vote Nico, one Brigitte.
Nico
That's two Nico, one Brigitte.
Marks shows the tribe Nico's name on the next piece of paper.
That's three votes Nico, one vote Brigitte.
That's enough I don't need to read the last vote, but this is where it is gonna change. One person has already gone home tonight and that's enough. At your next Tribal Council that you attend, Nico you will have one vote against you already placed in the urn.
Nico places his head in his hands.
Mark: You can take your torches, head back to camp.
After Tribal Council
Jude: What I'm gonna remember is what the people said about me in the council this evening and how they percieved me. We are never open to each other to say, you do this and you do that, you bring the spirit up and you do this. What each person said there tonight, is straight in my heart and I'll keep that as a good memory.
