Courtney Marit's Official BioCourtney Marit (as in “I Marit a particularly mocking write-up”) is an artistic free-spirit who’s done everything and been everywhere. As if you couldn’t tell from her hair. She is a circus freak. No, really, she walks on stilts, performs trapeze acts and does fire-dancing.
She makes documentaries that promote world unity, no doubt advancing the idea that world peace is within our grasp only through the ancient art of fire-dancing. With all this world peace talk, are we sure she’s not the token pageant queen? Never mind, just looked at her hair again.
She has worked as a deckhand/cook, luxury yacht deliverer, massage therapist, ski instructor, snow maker, farmer, elder caregiver, trailblazer, biking/hiking guide, balloon animal-maker, sock darner, monkey cruise director, astronaut, pet therapist, street hustler, CEO of the Coca Cola company and importer.
Her many adventures include climbing mountain peaks in the Cordilla Blanca of Peru, skiing the mountains of Alaska, running a marathon in Honolulu, performing throughout Europe, living in caves in India, surfing in Costa Rica, hitchhiking through Mexico and walking the deserts of Chile. Sheesh, is that all? She’s the modern Tintin, only with worse hair.
She’s going on Survivor in order to have an experience of a lifetime. Can you even call it that if your entire lifestyle seems to consist of one experience of a lifetime after the other? She enjoys learning about other countries and cultures which means she’ll be the one who most benefits from the show’s “authentic cultural experiences” featuring locals being paid a hundred bucks an hour to dress in loincloths and dance around.
