-Ratings Breakdown:
CBS and NBC shared leadership on this typically competitive Monday, with CBS first in total viewers (just 100,000 more than NBC) and NBC No. 1 among adults 18-49. ABC and Fox shared the No. 3 and 4 spots, while cellar-dweller the CW remained in the distant No. 5 spot.

It was no contest at 8 p.m., with NBC favorite Deal or No Deal at a dominant (and season-high) 16.73 million viewers and a 4.9 rating/13 share among adults 18-49. Comparably, that was improvement over year-ago occupant Surface (Viewers: 9.38 million; A18-49: 3.0/ 8 on Nov. 21, 2005) of a hefty 7.35 million viewers and 63 percent among adults 18-49. Deal or No Deal also bested the No. 2 time period occupant, Fox’s Prison Break (Viewers: 9.57 million; A18-49: 4.0/10), by 7.16 million viewers and 22 percent among adults 18-49.

Elsewhere, repeat holiday specials on ABC -- A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (Viewers: #3, 9.37 million; A18-49: #4, 3.1/ 8) and He’s a Bully, Charlie Brown (Viewers: #3, 9.53 million; A18-49: #3, 3.3/ 8) --performed at levels close to CBS comedies How I Met Your Mother (Viewers: #4, 8.94 million; A18-49: #3, 3.2/ 9) and The Class (Viewers: #4, 8.32 million; A18-49: #4, 2.9/ 7).

CW sitcoms Everybody Hates Chris (Viewers: 3.38 million; A18-49: 1.3/ 4), which remains down by double-digit percentages from it’s year-ago Thursday performance, and All of Us (Viewers: 3.00 million; A18-49: 1.2/ 3) capped off the hour.

At 9 p.m., the real hero in the hour remains NBC’s Heroes, with 15.99 million viewers and a 6.9/16 among adults 18-49. Second were CBS comedies Two and a Half Men (Viewers: 15.28 million; A18-49: 4.7/11) and The New Adventures of Old Christine (Viewers: 11.67 million; A18-49: 3.8/ 9), followed by a repeat of Fox’s House (Viewers: 8.42 million; A18-49: 3.0/ 7), the Women Tell All edition of ABC’s goofy The Bachelor: Rome (Viewers: 7.44 million; A18-49: 2.7/ 6), and the CW’s Girlfriends (Viewers: 2.79 million; A18-49: 1.2/ 3), which has sprung a leak, and The Game (Viewers: 2.40 million; A18-49: 1.1/ 3). Comparatively, Girlfriends was down by 1.04 million viewers and 35 percent from it’s year-ago performance (Viewers: 3.83 million; A18-49: 1.7/ 4.

At 10 p.m., the pecking order remained the same, with CBS’ CIS: Miami a solid first (Viewers: 18.23 million; A18-49: 5.9/15), followed by NBC’s Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (Viewers: 7.31 million; A18-49: 3.1/ 8) and ABC’s What About Brian (Viewers: 5.35 million; A18-49: 2.4/ 6).
