The Story So Far:
Dr. (Allegedly) Marlena Evans has wrecked terror on all of Salem for far too long. It started a year ago when she realised that she was aging faster than her daughter’s hormones which raged for sex, her career was null and void with 0 patients and the sex life and love life with John was rather pathetic. It all began last year when Marlena quite bored decided to start a killing spree. At first it was just to shake up the town of Salem and psychologically torture people so that her practice will be filled with new patients. But Marlena began enjoying playing the role of a Salem Serial Killer/Stalker. Soon she knocked off half of Salem and tortured so many family members. She soon began slipping up and become a suspect. Finally one day Marlena confessed to her husband, in a desperate attempt to follow her daughter’s footsteps and hope this murder fetish would recharge their lost sex life. However John didn’t take it lightly and Marlena fell to her demise, 90 Floors Down to Hell. But the devil herself survived. Soon everyone became suspicious of their precious Doc. Determined to prove her innocence, John believed Marlena was possessed and the Priest even possessed and opened her soul to evil, which Marlena survived once again. She underwent the Truth Serum which she confessed to killing most of Salem. Marlena survived that. She then went into prison and survived a prison riot where another inmate lost her life- and her virginity. She then returned to prison once again and was set up to make it appear as if she had escaped, however she was shot down ruthlessly by the Salem P.D. It was believed for a brief episodes or six, that Marlena was actually dead. Turns out that Marlena wasn’t in fact dead, rather unconscious and suffered terrible food poisoning from the prison or hospital food- we will never know- which it appeared that she was dead! Yes, it was believed once again that The Devil herself had survived another incident.
A couple hundred thousand kilometres away, Zebedee Matabane (hereafter known and Zeb) suffered a horrific mining accident. The accident didn’t only rob him of his legs, but psychologically affected him too. His loyal wife of 100years offered to send Zeb to a special rehabilitation programme in the bush, but Zeb declined. The family too underwent great financially difficulties thanks to the increase in interest rate, tax and whatever every South African family has to face, the Matabane’s seems to have it 10x worse due to terrible writing. Zeb’s attitude put a dampen and strain on the family and it seemed like he still struggled to walk, determined to walk without the help of his family, Zeb set out to make himself walk and prove to his family that his still the head- much to their annoyance.
Episode 1: Trial and Retribution.
“John, John” the words echoed loudly through Salem Park. John Black was a man of God- no more, it has been a mere few hours since his wife’s death and John was already making out with Salem Tramp Kate Whore-ton, or was it Kate Braildy? Kate herself couldn’t keep up with the names of all the husbands she had, let all the dozen of children she had. Truth be told Kate had always had a thing for John and patiently waited months for Marlendja to be sent off so she could have him to herself. Abruptly ending the make-out session, John looked up, “I swear that’s Doc’s voice” he said in his 2D mono-tone voice. “John, my darling John” said the voice that sounded like Marlendja- John’s 185 year old Murderer Murderess Wife. The voice grew increasingly loud and became more audible. “Doc is that you?” questioned John as he raised his eye-brow in disbelief!
At that same time, Beurageurd Brady (Bo) wondered the park of Salem looking for a cheap way to get Hopeless Horse Brady (Hope) some flowers, he thought a few handpicked flowers would make up for the fact that it was because of him that Marlena Evans was dead- and Hope was having a terrible time accepting her dead- it might be because she was secrectly seeing Marlena about her obsession with not eating. Now Hope felt doomed to be anorexic for life.
The mysterious voice which sounded like Marlena grew louder, “Doc, is that you?” John asked out. Kate Whore-ton they asked out, “Grandpa Shawn, is that you? Have you come to settle your bill” As Kate believed the voice belonged to an old man. John gave Kate a cold look, she knew how he felt about her servicing relatives aswell. But truth be told, Granpa Shawn was a lonely old man since both Maggie and Caroline has passed. Will was his only entertainment…
Kate pulled John in and they continued to kiss passionately. From a distance Bo watched as the two made out, and glad that his actions of killing Marlena led to a somewhat happy consequence. At that same moment, “John, John” grew increasingly louder. John got up, “Doc I know it’s you, I can hear you, are you behind the bushes?” “No im right behind you” yelled the voice. John turned around, baffled to see there standing in the flesh, with her 200year old wrinkled skin and 1945 lipstick, Marlena. “But, but, I thought…” the words battled to come out his mouth, “What thought I was dead?” Marlena chirped back? “Apparently not, or how else would I be standing here?” she continued. “Well this is Salem- stranger things have happened” Kate butted in to say. Marlena turned to Kate, “Yes I know, who knew my husband would me making out with the town tramp just hours after my death?” She let out an evil laugh. “You bitch,” Kate fiercely said back. Kate then jumped out at Marlena, who came prepared. Marlena pulled out the scalpel she has stolen from the morgue and stabbed Kate in her right breast. Lucky for her the job was new so the pain minimised. But there laying on in the park with her breast stabbed Kate cried out, “Now my new fur coat’s going to be stained”.
Witnessing this all Bo ran from behind the bushes and dumbstruck about Marlena’s presence arrested Marlena on the spot. Marlena Evan, you have the right to remain silent.. blah bleh blah bleh blah…” he continued. I’m arresting you for assault on Kate Roadbreasts, breasts. At that exact same time Kate spotted Sami and Lucas making out a few meters away and immediately died from the shock. “Great she’s dead” said Bo. “Marlena, your under arrest for the murder”
It was a stormy night in Horizon Deep, South Africa. Thousands of kilometres away Zebedee Matabane was practicing getting out of his wheel chair and standing in the middle of the night. He’d manage to stand and found some strong balance when in the shadows he saw a large figure. Looked somewhat like Marge Simpson, but the figure shocked Zeb who fell and hit the coffee table. “Baba” said Letti putting on the lights to the lounge. “Oh my goodness, I thought you were Marge Simpson for a moment” Zeb said to his daughter. “Oh no baba it’s my new wig.” She smiled. Ignorant to the fact that her father laying in pain, bleeding legs and a broken arm on the floor. Letti smiled and adjusted her wig. Don’t you love the colour? The style? “Yes, it reminds me of that TV host, Felicia Mazi..Mazisomething. Ey I can’t think of the name” Zeb said laying in pain on the floor. Letti smiled and adjusted her wig. “Oh baba, you still know how to say the nicest things” Letti said back. His pain increased. Zeb couldn’t feel his whole bottom part of his body and he blood was everywhere. “Baba,” Letti said, “Why’d you make a mess with the tomato sauce, I was just coming down to fix me a snack, now look how you wasted it! Wait till I tell Mê [Agnes]” Letti walked away, “Im going to make myself some food now, goodnight”. Completely outraged with his daughter’s ignorance and terrible new wig, Zeb gave up on his legs, on his life and on laid there on the floor regretting the day he chose his family over Refiloe.
Back in Salem, at Salem P.D “Alright, it’s all organised” said Bo coming out of his office. “You’ll be held over tonight, and your trial will be tomorrow morning. We will waste no time, and don’t even think about pulling another stunt. You’ll be imprisoned in Jan’s Love Cage tonight to ensure you don’t escape.” Bo added. “Oh my, John I’m innocent. You have to believe me. I thought that was Kate’s fat, I thought I’d just be doing her a favour and giving her lipo” Marlena confessed to John. “I know Doc, I’ll call Uncle Mickey and everything will be alright. Don’t worry.” I’m just glad that you’re alright. They hugged and Marlena was taken off. “Hurry up, it’s a long drive there” Bo said.
Bright and Early, Agnes Matabane awoke to find her bed empty. She knew that her husband Zeb and her were having marital problems, but he had never not come to bed. Afraid that he’d run off with Refiloe, Agnes raced downstairs to find her husband laying what appeared to be unconscious in a pool of blood. “Zeb, Zeb, wake up, please wake up!” She shook her husband vigorously- so vigorously it would have even woken the dead. “Yes I am awake women! Relax” Zeb got up. “Be useful for once and give me an hand” he grunted at here in a terrible tone of voice. “Why must you bring down the ones the love you Zebedee?” Agnes asked in despair. “Shut up Aggie. Can’t you see I’m in pain, and must you make this about you?!” He grunted at her. Agnes finally got her husband up and into his wheelchair but it was very apparent that he was. “I really think we should take Dr. Havel’s advice. I think the problem with you is your mind, your attitude, your psychologically faced with this problem and it’s affecting you and everyone around you! Look at this family haven’t we been through enough? Why must you add to the problems? No, I don’t care what you say? We are not going back to Taba ‘Nchu, we staying here and getting you the best therapist that we can find” Agnes said to her husband. She went over to phone Dr. Havel and inform her of the news.
It was Marlena’s trial, and everyone in Salem- except those she had axed off was present. Her daughter Belle however remained absent from it all- she was still phoning Shawn constantly trying to get hold of him. “I have come to my decision regarding you Dr. Marlena Evans” said the Judge, “It is clearly obvious, you are a major threat and hazard here in Salem and it is clearly obvious you have more lives than a cat, so sentencing you to Death will do us no justice. I have decided to focus on your Psychological skills and ship you off to” said the judge. Everyone in the courtroom anxiously awaited to hear the verdict and where Marlena was going. However the Judge’s verdict was cut short and interrupted by an ad break. “I am sending you, Dr. Evans and your family- Belle, Brady, Sami and John to South Africa. I have a special case for you- and Dr. Evans, if this case doesn’t kill you- nothing will” Laughed the Judge. “If you manage to crack this case and provide a positive outcome, then you and your family may return to Salem, your slate will be wiped clean and you may live freely. However your practicing licence, driver’s licence, and University Hospital licence will be removed from you for 18 months.” Mickey advised Marlena that this was the best option and that she wouldn’t get a better deal. She agreed. “When will I be leaving you honour?” Marlena asked. “Next week. So say your goodbyes”
At the Rec Club, Agnes was complaining to Mavis, their ever so loyal employee about her standard of work declining, when the phone rang. It was Dr. Havel. “Yes Doctor, so good to hear from you.” Agnes said. “Oh what’s that, that’s great news? When will she arrive?” Agnes asked. “Oh that’s good, no no, next week is fine. What’s her name?” “Dr. Marlena Evans” Dr. Havel replied.

John resorts to his priest hood to solve Zeb’s problem. The family is hi-jacked outside the airport, where Belle is kidnapped and a ransom is sent to Horizon Deep, is Georgie behind this? Meanwhile a mysterious Salemnite follows the family to South Africa who makes a deal with Barker.
