(Please note: If you don't want to know what the challenges are or want any sense of anything, please don't read on.)
Episode 3
Date: 5 September, 2007
Time: 20h00
Fire is the main theme in this week’s action-packed episode of Survivor South Africa: Malaysia. The tribes are fed up with eating coconuts and raw fish and know they have to get fire soon to be able to cook their food and raise their energy levels.
At Bajau the tribe mates put more pressure on Hein, who have made promises of making fire for a while now. Will he succeed this week?
The reward challenge could also change the tribe’s dependence on Hein’s fire-making skills. The tribe who wins the “Free for All” challenge, in which the tribes have to wrestle each other one by one to get hold of a coconut, will get flint.
Viewers can also expect more fireworks between the “farm people” and “city slickers” at camp Bajau. Hein is getting tired of the girls’ silly territorial behaviour and Dyke will have to learn to watch his words. At Iban the lack of food is taking its toll on the Survivors.
This week’s immunity challenge “The Catupult” results in a cat fight in the water. Will the immunity Idol stay with Iban, or will Bajau manage to put their difference aside and work together as a team to escape another tribal council?
