Smith (Rebroadcast)
Premiere date: Monday 26 November at 23:00
From acclaimed creator/executive producer John Wells comes "Smith," a richly wrought portrait of the inner workings of a crew of career criminals. "Smith" pushes the boundaries of crime drama by vividly humanizing a close-knit crew of career criminals who plot and execute intricate, ingenious high-stakes robberies across the country.
Although Bobby Stevens (Liotta) appears to be a regular family man with a nine-to-five job, he's actually an expert thief who is seeking just two or three more big jobs so he can finally leave the business for a comfortable, lawful lifestyle with his wife, Hope (Madsen), and their two children. While she and Bobby never discuss his illegal pursuits, Hope is growing weary of turning a blind eye.
The members of Bobby's second family, his core band of partners, bring their own areas of expertise to pulling off the biggest and most sophisticated armed robberies. Joe (Franky G.) is in charge of all things related to transportation; Jeff (Baker), the most reckless of the bunch, is responsible for firepower; Tom (Miller) is on parole after being busted during a previous job, and his sometime lover, Annie (Smart), is a beautiful master of disguise who can manipulate any situation with her looks. FBI Agent Dodd (Bauer) has been following the robberies for some time and remains determined to catch the team, but he is most interested in capturing "Smith," the crew's mysterious leader and the brains behind the entire operation.
It remains to be seen if Bobby will be able to defy his shadowy superior, Charlie (Aghdashloo), and extricate himself in time from the scores that give him such a rush, or if his retirement will be a forced one--behind bars.
Reba 6
Premiere date: Thursday 29 November, 2007 at 19:00
Being a single mom in today's world is a daunting task. For Reba Hart (Reba McEntire), parenthood encompasses not only watching over three kids, but also keeping an eye on a son-in-law, a granddaughter, an ex-husband, and an ex-husband's neurotic wife. 'Reba' began with the Hart family in the midst of a divorce as Texas soccer mom Reba watched her white-picket-fenced world collapse before her very eyes.
Her dentist husband, Brock (Christopher Rich), left her after what she thought was 20 happy years of marriage for his impossibly perky and unfortunately pregnant dental hygienist, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman). The cherry on top of this bitter sundae was the pregnancy of Reba's then 17-year-old daughter Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) and her decision to marry her high school football star boyfriend, Van (Steve Howey).
Rounding out the happy brood is teenage Kyra (Scarlett Pomers), who continues to greet puberty with venom, and son Jake (Mitch Holleman).
