People yesterday it was Valentines and a friend of mine went out on a date....but the date turned out to be a disaster!

Ok u-sistaz came back dripping wet, she was crying!

Wondering what happened?

uSistaz had a crush on this guy for a long long tym and the guy was a bit slow like all man are (**wink wink**).
So it took him ages to realise that the gal had a thing for him and like all man (**wink wink**) upon realising it - asked her out yesterday (Valentines date)

The brother is well read... so is the my friend!

Having said that the guy is well read, well travelled and well mannered...I mean he is a gentleman. My friend is all of the above too, but the degrees are obiviously not the same.

This is what happed: They took her out to a Portuguess restuarent, some La` sumting
*She had a problem with the menu - had no clue what was served
*She did not know how to pronounce many of the items on the menu
*Did not know the difference between latte and capucciono
*There was a set of 3 for each cutlery piece - she didnt know which one to use for what
*She was not dressed up for that particular res...she obviously thot - pizza/pub

Ok now what i want all of you ma-bloggers amahle is to help me compile a list dat i will call ITS OKAY... LIKE

*Its okay to ask if you are confussed on a date
*Its okay to recommend a res, dat you will feel comfortable with like Ninos
*Its okay to stick to the usualls like Joko tea/ Rooibos

I mean it is okay..... rite

Its okay if you you`ve used handicapped parking because nature is calling
Its okay if you dont belong to some book club
Its okay if you think make up causes wrinkles

So ma-bloggers amahle please assist!

Mmmmm....intersting article. Your friend was obviously not comfortable, you should say it before humiliating yourself that i dont have a clue whats happening here, care to give some assistence. Then the partner or date will help or suggest for you guys to go elsewhere. People get dates everyday and things that makes bad impressions are these once when they dont come clean about what they know and don't know. If the brada was really interested in ur friend he will organise a second date and let your friend choose the venue/theme and get to know her better in a relaxed environment.

I think de brada did dat on purpose, you know how some men are, just bcoz he and de lady are in the same level (qualification wise), he was just trying to found out a way that he can inferioate her. making sure that he is the "man" in this partneship. Ur friend boosted this man's insecurities by not standing her ground, let him know that she wont it in a portugueses restaurant, when she is craving KFC.

Its ok for her to cry as this is very embarrassing.

Its ok to read an article on TVSA and have nothing to say about it, really it is you dont have post empty comments or rubish just becoz you think you have to comment.

Its ok for some people to write articles and its perfectly ok for some to be just readers and commentor(s), this is decreases the amount of meaningless articles on site.

Its ok to not go out on a weekend, jsut stay at home.

Its ok to be single, relationships are are complicated at times.

Some guy from back home took me to his hotel room 'to chill', so we decided on room service I ordered sweet 'n sour chicken and dessert (let me get fat in peace bantu!).
