Kwaito Star Zombo is No More

I thought they said this is 2000 and Great, the year of great things for all people, the year in which life should be better for all of us. It started great for some of us and latter got a bit sour and now it seems to be worse.
Sunday World first broke the story that Zombo was HIV+ and he was shown on LIVE where he also mentioned the course of his illness. Ladies and gentlemen Tebogo Ndlovu better known as Zombo is no more.

I first heard of Zombo in the 90's with the songs" I love You Zombo" he was part of the 999 stable which brought kwaito to Life. He went solo and did songs with artists like Lira, he was part of Collabo which contained of Power, Nestum and Himself but the album did not do well and he recorded yet another album which he spoke about on LIVE that it wasnt marketed. A trust fund was opened for him to take care of his medical bills while we thought he would get better God robbed South Africa of yet another Young Star.

RIP Tebogo....

Another young one again. I remember the last time i saw this guy. My freind was throwing a birthday party & this guy was there sitting alone on the corner just watching. .And bcoz he had this style so i only recognize him with that blonde tint. ............................ Rest in peace man!

its really said that we all have one life, no second chances, no corrections. I feel sorry for Zombo, I wish someone could have told him better. But thats not always the case with most of us, no one tells you better, no one teaches you right from wrong -- you just have to figure out on your own. too bad most of the times when you do figure out, its too late and unlike in a film scene, there are no "cut, let's run it again from the top, and in 1, 2, 3 aaaaand Action"

Baqalile...Gosh these artist never learn, we work our butts off and save our lil` earnings so that our parents can give us a dignified funeral and we want to do the same for them...Now aboZombo`s mother they want a hand - What happened to his savings - went up his nose! I suggest that if his mother can not afford to give him a decent funeral - she must speak to the government. So many ppl die without pennies ppl who have never seen Baas`s door but their families manages to pull it thru...why should his case be exceptional! Seriously maan this is annoying maan. What excuse does Zombo have and his mother have__he was not robbed out of his money like Mahlathini. If he was, why did'nt he look after his affairs its not like he is some old unknowledgable guy.
What annoys me the most about the situation is that you can find out that the mother received some things from Zombo and when she was getting all the goodies she did'nt care to ask my son - how is your bank account looking? And she must stop embarassing Zombo and his memory seriously, you can't expect the nation to pay for his funeral. Wr bought the CD's what more do you want. Don't they have family members.

I really feel for his parents... imagaine your own parents begging for your funeral money in newspaper when you were all over tv and radio?
