PSL ROUND-UP
This week the PSL kicked off after a long break due to the AFCON in Ghana, we had some interesting results from Wednesday and during the weekend, I will touch on those which interested me.
- I have to firstly congratulate my team the Buccaneers for back to back victories on Wednesday and Saturday winning is the only way to go boys, They won 3-0 and 2-0 against Swallows and Wits respectively, I have to take my hat off for Teko Modise for his brilliant performances in the two games, people we saying all this about him after the Afcon but he proved them all wrong way to go my boy, All the coach ODG for his tactics when we had many players injured he never panicked because he knew he had equally capable players on the bench, we to give credit to him because when the teams lose the coaches are the ones hammered.
- I have to say that I don’t know what is happening inside the Kaizer Chiefs camp but what I know is that the team is not doing very well, Chiefs have set themselves high standards during the previous years so it is painful to see them down on the log, they lost 1-0 to Thanda on Wed, “Mavusana” who was given the boot by Chiefs is the player who did the damage on the day scoring the only goal of the match, they then drew 0-0against bottom of the log J. Cosmos yesterday, it is not raining but pouring at Naturena so the Coach has to act fast bcos is getting out of their site.
- Credit to Ajax for continuing where they left off before the break, they are really getting away after winning both their wed and Sunday games, but they must watch out for the buccaneers.

SUPA14 results
The Supa14 kicked off this weekend, and my fixture of the weekend was the repeat of last year’s Currie Cup final, the Lions faced The Cheetahs in Bloem, as a Lion fan myself I hoped to win the game but I knew it was not going to be easy but we won what was a magnificent encounter 23-22
- the SA sides did well when the Sharks beat the W.Force in Durbs and the Blue bulls beat a very determined Stromers side, I think SA is going to do well again we stand a very good chance of bringing it home for the second time.
MAN UNITED THRASH ARSENAL
The Red Devils demolished the Gunners at Old Trafford 4-0 in a FA cup last16 encounter and I must say what a clinical performance from Sir Ferguson’s boys, Fletcher scored two goals after being on the sidelined for the better part of the season.
BIG UPS TO ABSA
Absa announced last week that the first prize for the PSl is a whopping 10 000 000 and the player winning the Player of the season award will pocket 1 000 000,I think this is brilliant move by the bank so it is up to the players to deliver on the pitch, to show that they are worth it
