Starting on SET this March:

Premiere date: Monday, 10 March, 2008 at 16h25
Broadcast Mondays to Fridays

party of five

Party of Five: Season Two continues exploring the lives of the Salingers - five siblings determined to stay together following the tragic loss of their parents.

Bailey (the second eldest), his two younger sisters and their baby brother are left in the care of the eldest, but least dependable, sibling Charlie, who is in his early twenties.

Season Two finds Charlie struggling to come to terms with his new responsibilities as head of the family - made more difficult by the fact that his siblings do not see him as an authority figure.

Bailey has his own problems to deal with as he battles to find a nanny for baby Owen; Julia abandons her household responsibilities and Claudia is trying to raise money to keep the family afloat after Charlie’s foolhardy business.

As the Salingers each face their own troubles they begin to realize that the only way to make a family work is to work together.

The Shield 1
Premiere date: Saturday, 22 March 2008 at 20h50

the shield

The encore presentation of The Shield : Season One follows the tough, morally ambiguous world of an inner-city Los Angeles police precinct, where the line between good and evil is crossed daily.

Michael Chiklis, who's won Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for his portrayal of Detective Vic Mackey, is the leader of the elite Strike Team.

Mackey is an effective but corrupt cop who operates under his own set of
rules.

The young precinct head, Capt. David Aceveda (Benito Martinez), doesn't like Mackey's tactics and wants him off the force.

Luckily for Mackey, veteran Det. Claudette Wyms (CCH Pounder) understands Mackey and knows how to play both sides of the fence.

Trivia:

Six seasons of The Shield have been made so far. A seventh and final season has been announced - it premieres in the US in September, 2008.
