Things came down to the crunch in
The Biggest Loser SA last night when Asanda, John, Shakeel and Sharon braved the scales to decide on who would make the Top 3.
The episode began with a Survivor-type challenge that saw the final four pulling 35kg's minus the weight they've lost across the show.
Asanda and Shakeel failed to hold their own, John and Sharon ended up in a battle and John was beaten by strong-man Sharon who went wild and won a plasma TV.
John: "She's impressed everyone big time. I don't know where it came from but all this energy and she's just so focused - she's like an animal."
Sharon: " I really wanted to show people that I deserve to be here. I'm not just riding coat-tails, it's not just coincidence, I worked really hard to get to where I was. I was determined to beat them at something.
"When the individual challenges first started my goal was to win just one so I could go home and say: "I won one individual challenge," and to win three, incredible. How awesome is that? Strike one for the girls."
The four then weighed in to see who would be up for elimination - the results were as follows:

With Shakeel and John below the yellow line, the pair weighed off against each other in the final contestant vote of the season and Shakeel was unanimously eliminated because of being the Biggest Threat.
After victorious hugs and tears between the Top 3 they each spent some time with their trainers who showed them Before and After pics of their time on the show. Bruce laughed in delight with Sharon and Asanda and Lisa shed a tear with John before trying to pick him up.
Lisa: "The hottie you are now man, jeez I can't believe it hey ... I can't wait to see this six pack growing - really I'm shocked, you look SO hot right now. Well done John, it was an awesome journey, a great experience, to share it with you, you've changed a lot of things about me so I thank you for that - he's/it's/you're (*flustered*) a hottie man."
Everyone then packed their bags for the 4 months that lie ahead - which we'll see next week in the build-up to the Reunion Show in two weeks time.
Shakeel's parting words:
Shakeel: "No hard feelings, it's understandable, it's a complement in a way I suppose, that I'm considered the biggest threat and tough competition so that in itself is good because these are three fantastic competitors as well. I'm not surprised at the vote quite frankly, I'm obviously very sad and unhappy about it but that's the way it goes so there's no sour grapes.
"I'd just like to make an observation so that doesn't feel too bad - I've never had my name written down so it's the first and the last time so I go out with a bang."
Shakeel lost a total of 36.3 kg's across the show.
