King K came home with a story about a colleague that has a preggies wife and he has “confirmed” by using the net that his wife will have a girl. We laughed so hard I called my preggie galfriend to find out what is happening with her and bambino. When I asked her the sex of her unborn child she said she found out from the net that it would be a boy.
Now, I was stunned! What? Can you do a series of blood tests or scans on the net to figure the sex of an unborn child? Has the internet become
that resourceful? Clearly it should be easy to find out my dna on the net if it is so easy to tell an unborn child’s sex!!
Needing to be clear how accurate this "net resourcefulness" is, and since I already have a son, I went to google for ‘predict sex of unborn baby”. The results were 27 700 hits! Shooo! Who has been researching this without science?
The first link I opened was this (
http://parenting.ivillage.com/ttc/ttcsigns/0,,j736,00.html) and this site has a Chinese chart that apparently was buried in a tomb 700 years ago. Huh? How accurate would it be in today’s times?
Chinese Gender ChartI would like to do a little research on the accuracy of the chart, even though the site says the users should keep in mind that it is solely for entertainment, maybe we can help them check for accuracy!
To be able to take the research you need to know the below -
How old was your mother when she conceived you?
Which month were you conceived in?
Then check on the table which gender you are “supposed” to be according to the Chinese Gender chart!
