Dogfights returns for second season to follow veteran pilots through every move of their air battles.
In the first episode Jet vs.Jet, we look at the discovery of the Jet Age, where new kinds of air wars were raging at 500mph.
The new season also recreates the tense manoeuvring between the rugged P-47 Thunderbolt aircraft and joins the heroic Israel pilot Giora Epstein and his Mirage III, as he takes on a swarm of Egyptian MiG-21s in one of the most thrilling dogfights of the jet age.

Lost Book of Nostradamus reveals a recently unearthed manuscript containing cryptic predictions for the future that may have been written and illustrated by the infamous prophet Nostradamus.
This book - Prophecy of the Roman Popes - lay hidden in Rome for over 400 years until it was discovered at the end of the 20th century.
This special will conduct forensic analysis to determine the book’s authenticity and decode the secrets that lie within its pages.

A month later, the Germans shipped more than 1,000 members of Rome's Jewish community to Auschwitz concentration camp, where more than 800 died.
When Italian supporters began guerilla operations against the Germans on the streets of Rome, the once distant war exploded on one of civilisations oldest and most beautiful cities.
This programme focuses on research and interviews that Robert Katz conducted for his book and examines previously unseen documents from Italian, German, Vatican, OSS and CIA archives.
