Everymorning before i do anything ... i just thanks God for the fact that im alive and it a brand new day with unexpected great blessings. When i leave the flat i thank him for the Shelter. when im on the road, i always praise him for choosing to bless me with the car and protecting me everyday.....

i always thank my parent for providing me with the weapons to take on the universe ... when im about to leave the car i pray for arriving safe and look thank God for providing me with the job ... it is such a nice feeling to be thankful

Porsch, there couldnt have been a better day to write something like this. Here's the story..

I took work home last night coz tomoro, Friday.. is deadline. I woke up a bit too late this morning and I rushed through everything...Just when I had driven out of the complex... I realised I forgot the computer.

There's been roadworks on my road for two weeks, now...i looked up at the board there and it said

"ROADWORKS ON "X" ROAD FOR THE NEXT EIGHT WEEKS. ONE WAY TRAFFIC ONLY. APOLOGIES FOR THE INCONVINIENCE."

I said the f-word multiple times as i tried to maneuver a way to the "alternative" road so i can go back and fetch the stupid computer.

The traffic there is a killer - its a typical Cape Town winter day... its raining and the stupid road is muddy.

I screamed "Perfect! and just when I was about to give God a rude finger, Thomas played Brenda Fassie's song right after Lebo Mathosa's...

And right then I thanked God for my life.

When I finally got to my place... I found that I had left the heater on.

That's when I couldnt hold myself anymore.. I just cried... and realised how beautiful life is.

I looked at my laptop there on the couch and I thanked him for not screaming "I am here!" when he saw me leave.

I mean.... Things could've been worse.

I still got to work late... but my house didnt burn down, now, did it?

Sorry for the article inside the article... I just really needed to share.

i'm not really into music neah except for the songs they play on radio, but the first time that i really listened to this song, i dont know if you remember in 2005 pop idols (forgot her name), she was in the top 5, as she sang that song plus interpreting ka sign language i was blown away ever since then i love the song and each time i have bad days i also remind my self

My most memorable and wonderful day is when I gave birth to my son eight years ago, I dont know why, (with unplanned pregnancy; being kicked out of home; father not loving me enough)but I was so happy that day.
I have lots of happy thoughts, like, seeing myself having that 4 bed house in Brooklands, shopping for furniture like plasma screens, etc. mina da first time i saw my baby boy i CRIED...........I WAS SO HAPPY.
