Here’s what went down on LIVE last Friday. I know it’s rather late and I apologise but since I’d already written it I thought I might as well post it:

Drenko was rather “mad” on LIVE. He started off by giving a brief history of his career. His introduction to the public was through the soundtrack of the Oscar-winning Tsotsi then said we know his songs “shaya ama-hoota” and another which I didn’t recognize. He’s not happy that we know his songs but we are “writing” his CDs and not buying them. He then went on to say if you don’t have his CD and he dies then don’t bother donating for his funeral his mother will bury him. On that one I will ask the same question Bonang asked. Does he have a point?

Mgarimbe was on as well telling his side of the “story”. If you don’t know the story (which I read in Sowetan last week). A neighbor of his called the police because he and his girlfriend are suspected of abusing his 4-year old daughter by neglecting her, not giving her food and making her wear dirty clothes. He was in jail for 48 hours for that. What I don’t understand though is this. He claims no journalist has ever spoken to him about the issue but the Sowetan says they spoke to him and he denied having the child in question. Anyway they showed a child playing and I assumed that was the child in question but to me the child they showed on TV didn’t look four, she looked younger. But ke what do I know about babies.

DJ Cleo confirmed that he will be releasing his last album. He says he doesn’t want people to talk about him the way they do about Arthur saying “uphelelwe” (he’s run out of ideas). I LMAO at this one. I must say Cleo’s looking good these days without the blonde hair. Like Kelly Khumalo said it made him look like a street child.

Khanyi and Chomee took to the stage and performed live. The whole thing was just nje to me no goose bumps or anything and I can’t even remember the song. They were dressed in identical outfits. I wonder if Chomee was upgraded or if it was Khanyi who had to downgrade.

I think Bonang has some end-of-show disorder. I mean whenever the show is about to finish some spirit takes over and she starts shouting and blabbing not giving anyone else a chance to say anything. I guess she wants to have the last word or something.

Adil from Metro FM was there was there as well I’m not quite sure what he was doing except chewing gum.

I must say Touch is growing on me and I think the nose is rather cute.

DJ Cleo, this is really getting boring..He doesn't have to show his beef with Arthur in every interview....

assumed that was the child in question but to me the child they showed on TV didn’t look four, she looked younger. But ke what do I know about babies.

It was not you, that child is definetely NOT 4 years old..

I was shocked when I saw that baby on Live as well. According to newspapers, the baby often asked neighbours food from the balcony....but that baby on Live could not even walk properly...I bet she/he can't even speak yet!!! eish...

Cracked up when Cleo said he didn't want "you guys" talking about him the same way you do about Arthur... LOL

The performance ya Chomee/Khanyi.......sigh.....those kids can't sing...Chomee can get down though...and Khanyi....I think she chose the wrong career...

Touch was much better than last week......

Bonang just needs to chill a bit....

anywho TBtouch is very short on tv he looked like a squirrell...LOL .hi hi hi just kiddin he's aaiight!!!! and he'll grow on you with this show..LOL

Plus the "How low can you go" video hay' they got girls who can go really low both literally and figuratively. I always wonder what the incentive is for doing such on TV don't these girls have families?

Cleo is being childish by what he is doing.Everywhere he is interviewed he always say something about Arthur.I think it was good he didn't win record of the year at sama's.

Eish ya hey, that video's hectic, I felt like it need a "Dont try this at home" kind of message at the end...coz hai, there are crazy people out there who draw inspiration from abo Ashanti.
But the song itself is tite, it was the first time I was hearing it, but I really liked it.

As for Drenko, yo, brother man is angry. The only thing I was happy to hear him say was that we musnt be donating money for his funeral when he dies...lol.

Bonang- eish, this girl, she was better at letting T-bos talk this week, but she still needs to cool down...tsho!

@Tshd21 u not the only 1,i think i heard Tach saying the video was shot by a cell phone...that explains it.

Have you noticed how Bonang always giggles when they go on air,just before they greet,wonder wat they are tokin abt.

Shame the performance ka Chomi no Khanyi,did u see the way they were buzzing each other off with their hands.

Hayi ndi lost kengoku Drenko,he went on abt how he has neva been cold to ne shows to perform...kanti musn't u hev a manager or something to organise ol of that for you.

Drenko - I think he is performing about NOTHING, coz there is nothing amazing about his song, it's just not worth the piracy that he claims we are doing. Yena he needs to dedicate more time and nergy in2 making a good album, He is acting like he a played a major role in Tsotsi, like Zola in Yizo Yizo with his hit song: "Ghettofabulous"

Mgarimbe - call me asucker for a not-so-hott man in tears but I believe he is innocent. I mean I remember when he came down to KZN to fetch his child, it "seemed" like he really loved her and he wanted the baby to live a better life with him. Eish angazi, but I HOPE he is innocent, Lord knows we have enough crminals in SA, so he better be innocent.........LOL

DJ Cleo - I have a feeling unamanga, this is not his last album. As for the uncle Arthur example he made, it made me LOL and it made sense to step down while u are hot (@ creating hits). OH man and KB (of Channel O). I loved his input in DJ Cleo's song that they played, he is good yazi, I wonder why he hasn't persuid music all along?

Chomee & Khanyi - I enjoyed thei performance and the tact they used to keep the song low key coz they both know they can't pull a Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey note, so balunge bculela phansi.........LOL

Bonang - really needs to calm down and talk less. Uyalanda lomtana yesess!!

Touch - All I can say is, last Friday was week Three and I'm still not touched.......LOL......and those collar shirts gotta go, yazi he looks like he starched(sp) his collar like uMzayoni oya olwandle for umbabadiso (baptism).........LOL....*no offence Strolicious mngani, ngiyadlala, I like ur staff dress.........LOL*

Drenko made me wonder if he's trying to say something regarding his HIV status. Why would a perfectly healthy young man imply that he will die before his mother and not the other way round? Just thinking out loud...

@ Golden Star, that man is sick in the head yazi, I wanted to ask him if he is God, when he said I quote: "It's ok, even if u don't buy my CD's, my mother will bury me"............nxxxxxx poor MOTHER, she has a grown man that's sitting ekhoneni elokshin feelings sorry for himself instead of being pro-active, while and relying on mom to bury him when he dies, can't he even get some part-time job while things are not on his side in the music industry???? He better coss his fingers that he dies b4 mom coz what will he be without her?.........LOL
