Euro 2008 starts tomorrow. cue the fights over remotes and loud screaming matches and good old fashion bonding over soccer.Euro 2008 like our own CAF has everything to offer, from the hot gus for the ladies , your Ronaldo , Therry Henry, Raul, to great goals and good competitive games for the soccer lovers.its all there.Whose going to win it,its anyone guess but here are the different teams competing

So group A is Switerland,Portugal, Turkey and Czech Republic. I think Portugal and czech republic are going to the next round. Why? cause the Czech's perfomances has been improving year by year espicially at international tournaments. Portugal have a point to prove, nobody likes loosing to the nancy boys called Greece. So they need to assert themselves as soccer demi gods.

Group B is Croatia , Austria, Germany and Poland. My money is on Croatia and Germany going through into the second round but Poland may just upset that prediction.

Group C which is seen as the group of death,at least in my books. We have Italy, France, the Netherlands and Romania. My bet is on Italy and Netherlands, although some may see the former world champions France pulling a surprise on everyone.I think Therry Henry and co have passed their sell by date and the chicken smell very funky, thats why its turning blue. But the current world champions,Italy, have to proof that they are the team to beat.this is going to be interesting.

Group D sees the defending euro champs Greece, Spain,Sweeden and russia. i think the nancy boys that are greece are going to get a whipping of their lives.Espicially after embarrassing Europe the last time by being crowned champions. Expect Spain , Russia and even Sweeden to make feta cheese with their b - hinds. The greeks are going to be tossed like thefamous salad and thrown  back to that little rock that alexander tried to conquer the world from. But most lightly Spain and Sweeden will go through to the second round.

So it all starts tomorrow with Switerland and Czech republic its on.ladies and gentleman its soccer season once again

The first weekend of euro 2008 has just passed by and my little teams have done well so far. Portugal, Croatia, and Czech republic have all won their games. But so far for me the game of the weekend was the Portugal vs Turkey. talk of quick pace, action and a lot of drama. It was all there.
At one point I thought Turkey were going to shock Ronaldo and co,and I have seen Ronaldo cry enough as it is.I was not looking forward to repeat performance. So im glad Pepe came through for the team. The Germany Poland game was not bad too.
So far,its been a very entertaining tournament.
off the topic- well done bafana bafana, theres still hope for us.
