Often when the word poverty comes up, we have pictures of folks living in the squatter camps, on the streets or amongst us in the townships. on the other hand when we hear the word celebrity we immediately associate that to wealth and the best life has to offer. that is generally the way things are supposed to be. but what about poor celebrities those who like to act big in a small town so to speak??
emzansi we got a lot of those, so let me give you the 411:
3 SUM- Ma*fackas are "musicians" but they have no song except for the rubbish they mime on stage, they famous for being openly gay and hanging with Khanyi Mbau(who doesnt fall on this category due to clever between the sheets manuevaring) these guys have no income(who in their ryt minds would buy their cd) one of them lives in a hired backroom somewere, the others probably live in some run down flat in yeoville. poor f&%$kers.
MAPAPUTSI- Nigga made it big with his first 2 albums, sold a substantial number of records, won many hearts and got shows left rigth and centre, lived it up. but like most mzansi celebs, he failed to grasp the fact that you are only as good as your last song. he spent his moolah like king mswati, now he is broke. got kicked out e townhousini livin in the township again. foolish ma*facka.
BRICKZ- Dont think I have to say anything here.
msawawa, trevor yamba, Busi Mhlongo, Jabu Pule, Thabang Lebese, and a whole lot more.
