Here we are …
The friends we’ve made, people we’ve met, the moments shared, the criticism we’ve endured, the conflicts and disagreements that ensued, the making up and the laughter thereafter … it must be the nature of us when thrown into spaces unfamiliar.
The Mambo was physically demanding, the lifts proved to be quite an exercise especially the first one. Now considering I only had a two hour sleep, I knew it was going to be another MOEGSOME day… there is nothing as torturing as getting in bed while birds are chirping away, letting you know that its time to wake up not sleep.
I still enjoyed the MAMBO although I do think we could have done better. Smakxxx brought his ‘A’ game on no doubt and I knew this when he earlier in the day came bursting, in his loud voice shouting ‘I got it chief!!! I finally got it!!! … the COMPOTITION (how Smackxxx says it) is on!!! This is divergent to the aforesaid ‘It’s BAAAAAAAD Chief … its BAAAAAAD’
The RUMBA is proving to be my favourite. I'm not sure if it’s the way Robynn weaved the routine or what it stands for … If there ever was a dance to define the nature of me, it would be this one, passionate, temperamental, accentuated, gradual, together and alone yet always standing tall …
Best wishes to all the other couples. It’s the beginning of the end; the tipping point … someone is going home this week … and without coming across arrogant nor over confident, for sometimes the line can be indistinct … I know if I push myself a little bit more, be in the moment (ke nne Sis’ buti on this one) and if I don’t put both of my left feet wrong of course … Robynn and I will be making all those trips to the Carlton Hotel …
