If only we were all motivated and well informed at the start of tasks, well we'd have less stupidity occuping space in some peoples membranes. When I was in high school there was one often irritating, but now I realise it's significance, question my peers and I used to ask,"why?". Every word uttered was followed by this vague yet pressing question.
Now, in my early twenties and elegantly accepting adulthood I'm more prone to think about the consequences my actions will have on my life and that of others. This brings me to my point, have you ever met seemingly bright people who repeatedly have the most arkward brushes of stupidity? That you cannot help but ask "why?" It becomes so infectious and vile that every word uttered, every thought contemplated is poisoned, having passed though the membranes,on the first floor and who lives there....Stupidity.
Intent not only guides us from leaning away for stupidity but towards something bigger, self discovery, and self acceptance. It gives life meaning and perspective. Just like driving into a strange town with a map, you feel more self assured since you can trust your instincts. Thus an escape from stupidity, pure bliss.
What is your locus of control? What guides you? Moves you? Have you thought of this or have you been advertising your stupidity and leaving your peers wide mouthed and teary eyed asking themselves, "why?"
