When I grow up!!

When I was a child I wanted to be a TAXI DRIVER when I grow up.
So I asked my mother, which university I will have to attend. She looked at me and say “a what????? I repeated a Taxi Driver! She said ok my baby you’ll have to attend a Driving University it’s somewhere in Cape Town (. I was so excited I was telling everybody about it. I even asked my teacher, about how many years it was going to take for me to get my degree. She shook her head and say “20 hours”. LOL

What you wanted to be when you grow up???????

Iyooooooooo I wanted to be a Medical Doctor, you won't believe that I changed my mind on the last five months in my matric year after I did a reality check that I'm scared of blood and injured person let alone the sick one. My mom was like what were you thinking grand grand ngoba uligwala.

I wanted to be STRAIGHT....until i found out there is no University to turn Gay boys into STRAIGHT boys.........so i embraced who i am. Career wise - I am what i always wanted to be as a kid.............

I wanted to be STRAIGHT....until i found out there is no University to turn Gay boys into STRAIGHT boys.........so i embraced who i am.
And I am gald u did, coz there is nothing worse than someone who is trapped in a lifestyle they don't prefer. I have a a gay friend who is so cool, 26 years nogal, yet he is still in the closet due to the fear of being judged.

I was 9 years BA,

and you knew that you need to purse a caree at the university and that it takes years to get a degree... you even knew that there is something called a degree.... i must admit you were one of the few intelligents kids

i wanted to be a nurse.
i used to watch them on tv with white dresses and thought that i wanted to look like that one day.

then adolesence hit and i wanted to be a geologist...sometimes i wonder what could have happened if i prseud that career path cause it is still an interesting thing to study.......

I wanted to be a teacher, and beat the hell out of my class teacher’s child; until I found out she was attending a Model C school, at that time I didn’t know any darkie teacher at a Model C school.

Then I wanted to be a nurse and my class teacher was going to be my patient, I was going to torture her like she did me. Then she never missed a day at school and was never sick.

So I decided to become a truck driver and it would be raining and she would be walking and I would drive into a water muddle and splash her with mud. She got herself a car.

By the time I chose another career I had outgrown my obsession with revenge.

Nna i wanted to be a social worker because of Samantha of Bophelo ke Semphego. She lived in a double story house and i thought...... i want to be like that.

1. I wanted to be a house wife, to cook, clean the house, wash the clothes, taking my kids to school, making lunch for them and my husby...cook supper.etc
2. I wanted to be a YOTV presenter or an actress(especially for Dynamite Diepkloof Dudes), so that i can be famous
3. I wanted to be a hairstylist...coz i knew how to braid, plet, relax, twist etc
4. When i was still younger i wanted to be a doctor(its everyone's wish...i guess)...then i found out that it takes many years, that changed my mind...my mother insisted me to take nursing..then i did, i gave up in 6 month-time...coz of the practical....damn... in nature i have nonseses when it comes to disgusting things like..kak...vomits....wounds...etc (ndiyacekisa)...then my mom loughed at me saying that i knew that u will not make it there..(though she was the one who insisted)..
5. I finally decide to take this course "Environmental Management"...i like it, its ny career

i wanted to be a ditective , go undercover and solve cases, like in new york undercover and 21 jump street. what i like most is dat when u r a ditective u also get to experience other careers as u work undercover like be student, doctor, everything depending on yo case.

When i was in primary i wanted to be an air hostess, i alwasy thot they looked hot with pantihose.
Then in high school i was a tomboy and i wanted to be a mechanic, even after high school, i begged to be taken to a mechanics course, mnciim, my aunt did not want to hear of it, she said i must start plaiting my hair like other gals (i had brush cut then), maybe then i will know what i want in life, ignorance, she thot mechanics was a man job.
My dream was crushed!
What i really want when i grow up is money, i dont care what happens or what i have to do, im not even sure what im doing is what i want, but it pays my bills, thats fine for now.

some of us had no vision we wanted to be everything our friends wanted to be!
today I wanted to be a teacher coz my teacher is dressed nicely, tomorrow I want to be a nurse coz this nurse looks nice wearing eye glasses, the following week I want to be a DJ coz im listening to Dj Fresh interviewing someone I have always seen on tv & grew to love them next month I want to be something else....yho!

she was asked what she wanted to be(whe she grows up) and she said as a kid she always wanted to be an actress
asked what she would be if she wasnt an actress---guess what she said----an actress
she said she cant imagine herself doing anything else.......

@Blueroze, I did read her intervew. what pissed me off with her was that she doesn't talk much about her first born child. and to me it sounds like she loves her younger son more becuse she's married to his father. I din't like her inteview at all!!!

Anyway I wanted to be a porn star, we were watching too much porn when I was growing up..... Seriously I wanted to be a doctor but in STD 9 my laths teacher told me nicely to find a second choice, the I heard the word engineering then 2 weeks later everyone in my class wanted to be an engineer. Oh i wanted to be a traffic cop. Whenever we go 2 town, i always pray for ukumiswa. Yhazi abantu abadala would b so worried ukuthi eish uzoyimisa laa mntwana le moto but mna i was happy.....I used to luv guns & that uniform, she used to look masculine.

2nd I wanted to b a King's wife. She was so beautiful & always look nice so i thought i wanted le good life
