IWTSG Bloemfontein Concert

I would like to take this opportunity to thank TVSA,  mjj and Eclipse TV for making it possible for me to witness the top 10 in action.

The top 10 was on fire last night, I enjoyed every moment of the show. There was no time in the whole two and half hours that I found myself sitting. I was standing the whole time even the pain of my shoes did not discourage me.

I arrived at the venue at 18h25 looked for the lady who was supposed to issue me the tickets, waited for her for 10 minutes. I had to wait outside according to the door keeper to avoid people going in and out. I waited but she never came out. Eventually the doors where opened and people where allowed to enter. I went inside and looked for her, she directed me to the right queue and the assistant gave me my four tickets. Thank you mjj.  The show only started at 20h00, I was irritated as I hate waiting, the hall was empty in the beginning. I was disappointed at the turn out of the Bloemfontein people. Once the show started people went crazy they enjoyed what was presented to them, the wait was worth it.

At one stage I turned, I saw an almost full hall, was excited of the turn out, Bloemfontein responded good to the concert. The top ten out did themselves. I was excited to see Mzoxolo however his performance did not blow me away as Khotso did. Every time I saw Lungisani I could not stop LOLing. He never impressed me the omly thing outstanding about him was the different suits he was wearing everytime he came to the stage.

The ladies were all on fire I loved Charisma’s Afrikaans song even though I did not understand the lyrics but the beat and melody blew me away. Sphumelele knows how to perform that lady rocked the concert. She has the energy, she will definitely go far in the industry. One of my friends who accompanied me to the concert said to me Joyous had competion, and I agree with him. If the top 10 keep on giving us this kind of performance South Africa will respond to them.

Victor Tlhapi also performed as a bonus to the free Staters.

Victor Tlhapi

PS: To those who doubted Lusanda's sexuality the guy is straight as a ruler. He is a dish.

Thank you thank you and thank you

What songs did Pastor Ma D sing? I think that guy is great with certain songs that stimulate "holy-holy -act"-......., and our Twinkle?

Same thing happened in Jozi. At one point it seemed people weren't going to turn up and when the audience started dancing, i was surprised to see how many had shown up!

Sphumelele knows how to perform that lady rocked the concert. She has the energy, she will definitely go far in the industry.

So so true. I fell in love with her after the live performance. i think if i had seen her perform before the show, she would have been my favourite!

MJJ is such a nice guy shame, you should get him a XMAS gift.

Now, what's that about Lusanda being as straight as a ruler? Do tell!!!!

Molilo u beat me to it. But what a show hey !!! You r right i was irritated also for the show starting sooo late, but it was worth the wait

Let start by saying whoever was responsible for marketing IWSG-bloem, should be fired, they didn't do justice to what could have been a live changing experience for so many people, in bloem

Well the show did go on. with a total number of (+-200) supporter, Mkhize was a bit down ( who can blame him really)

'BOUT THE PERFORMANCES

I started off with all of them singing as a group
1. then Belinda was the first to do her solo. Which was fine but i think all of them are over-shadowing the poor girl.

2. Then came Tshepiso - He was looking good, by the way, and his perfomance for me was OK. Now we can all attest to the fact the man can sing, but i felt that he was trying too much. Hitting all high notes without reason. Maybe R&B, but gospel, not his element

3. Charisma - Now that was a performance & half, that girl rocked bloem like it has neva been rocked before. She sang the Afrikaans song( 4got it) & 'tis so sweet. And no doubt in my mind that she is going 2 be a force to be reckoned with in gospel music.

4. Spumelele - what can i say ( she is not my favourite person must admit), yhoo is saw the next Ribs in her. Her moves ( doing mbaqanga, traditional dance, etc) she was doing her thing and people do like her. so i suppose in her own right the girl can be considered a potential star. Big up 2 u sista!!!

5. Shanon - Now for me, this was a true WORSHIP, She was hitting the notes from left to right. What a Voice!!! & the Spirit of the Lord was with her. There was no fong-kong,mickey mouse game, she was worship God from the bottom of her heart. Look out for her as well!!! she is going to take so many gospel artists out of business ( mark my words)

6. Mzo - shem the guy was also there, wow, him being all humble like we know him to be. Well performance wise he did good, he is also going far

7. Lusanda ... Lusanda.... Lusanda..
U know judging a book by the cover is not good. Bathong that guy is good ( JD) Yhoo he sang "Ndigowakho", and i could sit down. and the voice ( rember he was eliminated coz his voice was scratching etc), well yesterday his voice was up to scratch and he sang , boy he sang!!! gud luck 2 him 4 future

8 Lungstar --- haaa , MAN OF THE MOMENT (ke a o jwetsa)
He is our star, granted, but the likes of other former contestants are really Over-shadowing him. He was ok, but i don't know something was not screaming **** about him ( attire yes) but everything else, Nooo. Maybe if do concert on his own - MAYBE, but one thing that "vote, vote , vote" people like it. how about his 1st Cd be called { Lungisa - VOTE-VOTE-VOTE), wouldn't it be nice.

9. Then there was a surprise Victor, now if there was a mistake made in that competition is eliminating the young man that early in the competition. ( no i'm not biased)Yes the boy is from BFN ( hola siwe!!!). He was singing "Jesus will take your pain away", and his perfomance brought tear to my eyes. It was real

10. Kgotso was outstanding i agree with u molilo, he brought the house on fire, And i will say it again that man was suppose to be a star

the concert was a sucess and i'm happy to have been part of it

THANK YOU TVSA family, and MJJ once again abhuti ke a leboha

Noe we can't wait for Cape Town when all his Makhulus, Malume's, Bazala'z, Dodobawo's- & all his family (in an African extended family set-up...) will be there to cheer him up.....!

Maybe if do concert on his own - MAYBE, but one thing that "vote, vote , vote" people like it. how about his 1st Cd be called { Lungisa - VOTE-VOTE-VOTE), wouldn't it be nice.  hahahahahaha

Thousand apologies, Yhaa Thabisa was there !!!!
And shem she also gave an oustanding performance, the only glitch, was that beaded necklance on her traditional attire, it was coming off, during her perfomance and shem,  she had to cut her perfomance short because of that.  but she was there[ sori gel]

@ Madala
- u once made a comment about her being african woman and all that ... gues what?  immediately when i saw her i thought about what u said, & i had to explain why i was laughing 2 friends, but don't worry i didn't say anything my lips were tight.  those ke dintho tsa lapeng( izinto zaze khaya), or kanjani

it was coming off, during her perfomance and shem, she had to cut her perfomance short because of that. but she was there[ sori gel]
Then it means the necklace had some muthi coz there was no need to cut her performance short coz of yona, mina I once watched a concert where Sis Ribs, yes Rebecca Malophe was wearing a wrap around skirt and it fell on stage while she was performing and she just carried on wearing a short black tights and picked the skirt up with style. Offtopic, guys am I the only who is bothered by the over-simplicity of the vanish advert with Dineo from Generations and that 7de laan woman, shem man they look so plain & tired, couldn't they have madethem look a bit hott. Or was it part of the whole housewife image vanish was tryna achieve

Nonny I saw that....To me it was like...Dineo  form Generations is the SMART one  and that fat girl who keeps saying..HHHAWU..countless times...is a domkop from that OTHER soapy so diinny is here to show her....I donno if the advertising company realised intenstionaly wanted to cast soapy stars of they just happend to get these two

I think the advertisers wanted to show viewers that even their fav. soapie stars do ama washing and when they do asikho isikhathi sama make-up and phly weaves, it's plain house-wife Jane all the way.
