This question has been in my mind for time now. I believe most of the people here have credit cards.
We love them, regardless of the credit crunch teachings.
Ive had mine for long time, I appied for it so that I can make seriuos purchases with it or only when I am in trouble.
Now lately I have been using it for petty things. When I say petty thing I mean things which I could be able to live without and not die.
I had set a limit for myself for my credit card balance. This was to help me to pay a little for instalment, or better to pay the whole amount in a month. But lately I have went overboard.
Guys am I an impulsive buyer?
The last items I bought with my plastic was 3 fur cushions, they are nice but not necessities. I can live without them, but when I saw them I just bought them.
If you think I am one, how do I recover?
What I usually do is that I leave all my banking cards at home and have maybe R50 in my purse to avoid temptation. This always works but I cant go on like this.
I feel like I am becoming a danger to my own life.
Am I overreacting?
Since I always keep my receipts so that by the end of the month I chack what I spend money on, I am scared to see that more than ten transactions this month were made from my credit card.
How do you guys define an impulsive spender/buyer?
In your opinions can they be rehabilitated?
