The Business Club

The recession brings with it a need to think big in terms of making money. Unfortunately some of us don't have entrepreneurial brains or ideas that can leave you with hundreds of cash machines in your possession. So we look to others to do the thinking for us...

I recently went to a presentation of The Business Club in Clearwater. Anyone heard of it? I hear they're all over the country. I actually attended 2 presentations and I must say it sounded a little "too good to be true" (always wary of those) plus not to mention they leave out the part about how hard or easy (depending on how you look at it) it is to make money. It all sounds above board but again, nothing in life comes easy and I'm wondering if it really is a worthy investment....

Who has heard/joined it? What can you tell us?

Heard about it early 2008, but i love my money, did not join. The lady who told me about it is still looking poor. I recently received a call from CashReturns, instructing me to join them. I told them I am not interested. I dont like to gamble with my money.

Is this business like IFA from Clientel life?.

you join and you start recruiting. a comm goes to the person thru whom you join
with your 1st 2 people you get in you only get a smalll portion (but you don't get it immediately, you only get this portion once you've got your 3rd person join in).
the bulk of the comm of your 1st 2 people goes to whoever recruited you.
after this you are off the "clutches" of your recruiter
the 3rd person you bring in, you get the bulk of the comm on your own they you get ur first payment.
they call this 3rd person Bob (beginning of business)
now with bob's first 2 people you get the bulk of the comm then he's also out of your clutches.
Bob's first 2 people are now in your clutches and their individual 2 will be yours and so forth and so forth.
bare you basically have to work for your first 3 then u can basically sit back and watch as the money rolls in.

the money is attractive and all but what interested me the most was the benefits, esp the holiday destinations i could take my son to. time off nje to just relax. as appealing as those are i still am somewhat skeptical

It probably is.

To be sure give the financial services board a call and find out if they are legit and registered with them. Ask for their registration certificate number and if they have past financial results, ask if you can view them and then decide if it is worth it.

Remember the higher the risk the higher the return and likewise vice-versa. Keep that in mind when you decide to gamble with your money.

Just sell Tupperware Kele finish and klaar!!!! This sound like a very big ponzi/pyramid scheme to me. You will put your hard earned money in and the next thing you'll become a nuisance to your friends and family because you'll be hassling them to throw money into this drain!!!

My mom's friend is constantly smsing to go to a similar (not same company)presentation in Boksburg and it is annoying. I have an experience with IFA and believe you me it's not easy to sign one person who'll invest just R75/month. There is this older guy here at work;if you want to raise his 'high high' just ask him about millenium 2000 (midrand one). he invested about R10K  and he never got a cent from it! he used to tell us how he was gonna be a millionaire blah blah blah and irritate us with late night calls desperately trying to convince us to go to presentations and eventually part with our R10Ks.

realist they are legal. as legal as they come. you even pay tax on whatever money you make!

mara just to test the waters i've been "inviting" people over to come hear about the presentation so htey can make up their mind. i tell you, even though they strongly advice that we don't say anything, that people must come and hear and decide for themselves. getting people to come to these things is as hard as selling the damned thing. it may sound easy that after the 3rd person you can start to relax but even getting just the one to just come and sit and listen, let alone decide to join, is harder than hard

10K is nothing, did u read The Sunday Times??? those white people who lost millions each, atleast 5million each other and he still says that he used his own money to invest in that Ponzi scheme not the business money, meaning he still has money left over still, damn, yah no, whites really got a headstart shame, lol, jealous down.

getting people to come to these things is as hard as selling the damned thing.

You are telling me, I have a friend who belongs to this IFA thing and he said that I must come along with him just to listen to these guys. I told him there and there that I am not interested with pyramid schemes and they guy was flabbergasted with me. So JA I can understand what you are saying.

LM
18 Jun 2009 14:22

How did they lose their money?? details You need to recruit a minimum (3)number of investors within a certain period, say six months. this people should invest the specified amount. If you fail then it's bye bye, there are no refunds!!!

AMWAY is the one that has a bit of selling stuff ( from pots, jewellery to face creams) in it right?

realist
18 Jun 2009 14:23

damn this guy ozama zonke izinto!!!
Tell this guy to go to the stock market. Right now the stock market is on sale but it is slowly becoming expensive. If he buys now he may just strike it lucky and become a millionaire and realize his dream.

Guys I am part of Amway and we only have two people who joined and we get R900.00 a month and this has been going on for a year but I guess we are lazy to recruit again. We joined with R3000 so we did get our money back and extra.

I have a friend, she is part of IFA she gets like R4000-R5000 a month and she is still going strong so I'm not sure how much she is getting now.

I was recruited by my ex pastor 2 years ago and took some money on my credit card to join. They make it seem so easy and simple to make money, but it's all a lie.
I lost R73000 and am still in debt. They refused to downgrade me amd I already owe +- R 30 000 extra in interest. My business went under and I tried to reason with them, but no interest.
I found something else only last week and registered on Saturday. When I checked on Tueasday morning I already made some money. Check it out here!
