This past Friday (10 June) Channel O's 16h00-17h00 weekday music show
O-Boma tuned out of the channel for a final broadcast, after four years on-air.
Signatured by long-time VJ's
Nonhle Thema,
Lungile Radu and
KB Ngakane (Channel O's longest-serving VJ), the show has introduced various new VJ's over the years and has gone off-air to be re-invented into a new show.
The replacement show will form part of a campaign by Channel O called Young, Black and Gifted and will mix TV and music with online technology.
In the meantime, the social network/interactive show O-Boma-Xpress is still on and remains in it's usual timeslot at 22h00, Mondays to Thursday
We'll keep you posted as soon as we hear more about what the new show is.
Channel O is on DStv Channel 320.
