Less Than Kind Premiere date: Saturday, 1 August 2009 at 18h20
Continues: Saturdays at 18h20
A 13-part comedy series, Less Than Kind proves that, while you’re obliged to love your family, you don’t have to be nice about it.
Produced by Mark McKinney - whose TV credits include Saturday Night Live and Aaron Sorkin’s Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip - the show follows the life of 15-year-old Sheldon Blecher (Jesse Comacho), a smart, overweight teenager, who seems to lurch from one no-win situation to another.
Growing up as the only sane member of his dysfunctional family means navigating teenage life with his self-destructive driving instructor father (Maury Chaykin - Nero Wolfe, Entourage), pyromaniac mother (Wendrel Meldrum - The Wonder Years, Seinfeld) and handsome, egotistical brother (Benjamin Arthur - The L Word).
Displaying wisdom beyond his years, Sheldon manages hold it all together, even as the family business, Belcher’s Driving School, is on its way down the tubes and his failed-actor brother moves back into the family home and into Sheldon’s room.
Billable Hours On: Sunday, 23 August at 19h00
Continues: Sundays at 19h00
A comedy series about a group of disillusioned 20-something lawyers. Having woken up to the reality that corporate law isn’t like The Practice or Boston Legal - and bored out of their minds with 80-hour work weeks of paper-shuffling - they turn their attention to other ways of having fun at their downtown law firm.
The trio includes Sam (Fabrizio Filippo, Queer as Folk), Clark (Brandon Firla, Band of Brothers, Man of the Year) and Robin (Jennifer Baxter).
While Sam thinks he’s the glue that keeps them together, Clark and Robin are far too self-absorbed to pay him much attention, with Clark scarred by too much privilege and too little affection and Robin spending all her energy trying to hide her trailer park past.

Although longing to be popular, she is only truly loved by her best friend, Thelma (Jemima Rooper, As If, Lost in Austen) and, while terrified by the forces that haunt her, soon begins to use her new abilities to manipulate others.
Stalked by Azazeal (Michael Fassbender, Band of Brothers, Hunger), the leader of a group of fallen angels called the Nephelim, Cassie’s fate becomes increasingly dark after Thelma is kidnapped and sacrificed. However, she regains some hope when Thelma returns as a ghost, determined to protect her from the powers that seek to destroy her.
