The first round of auditions for e.tv's new dance reality show Superdance went down in Jozi last week Thursday (6 August) and the second round take place in Durban today (Friday, 14 August).
A 13-episode reality search, the show offers a winning dance couple R20 000 and a performance with the world's Top 5 dance couples at the World Dance Event.
The final round of auditions will be taking place in Cape Town next week before the show moves into the next phase of the competition.

Audiion date: Friday, 21 August 2009
Venue: at Dance Domain, Unit A, Burpark, 17 Montague Drive. Montague Gardens
Time: from 08h00. Entrants are advised to get to the venue early to secure an audition.
The competition is open to both professional and amateur Latin dance couples who are 18-years and older.
The show premieres on e.tv on Wednesday, 16 September 2009.

Some handy audition FAQ'sWhat should I perform at the audition?You can perform one Latin dance for the prelim judges. The dance should be no longer than 1 minute long. It can be in any of the 5 Latin styles - Samba, Ramba, Pasa Doble, Cha-Cha and Jive.
What should I bring to the audition?The Superdance team is anticipating thousands of people so the chances are you may have a long wait in the queue, so bring water, food and something to protect you from the weather. The show also needs to verify your age so please bring your passport and/or an official ID document.
How long will I need to be available for?The final of Superdance will take place in September 2009. If you pass through the audition stages and keep doing well, you will need to be available for 3 months from your first TV appearance. Exact dates and schedules will be supplied to the successful couples.
