Beyonce and Jay-Z Mzantsi Bound!

I'm not much of a football fan but this is one event i will not miss! Allegedly (lol) FIFA has asked super-couple Beyonce and Jay-Z to perform at a kick-off concert next year for the World Cup. The concert will be held at Orlando Stadium on the 10th of June 2010.

I am one of many that haven't bought tickets for World Cup matches and i'm so thrilled this performance is not happening at the opening ceremony!! Not to be missed that's for sure!

Oh, Black Eyed Peas are also tipped to be on the bill. No word on South African or African performances yet.

Proceeds from the concert will go towards education, healthcare services and soccer training to less privileged communities.

OMG...I cannot beleive FIFA.....dont they have good enough singers in South Africa to have done that...........I mean Siphokazi? Jozi these guys are great....their stage presence worse???????????why do I even have to name them....gosh i can't beleive it....Shame I am very dissapointed.

Well i love Bee and Jigga and wont miss their performance for the world but am a bit pissed how can they bring other people to come perfom in Mzansi who are not South Africans? When the world cup is in Mzansi? I mean really now

I don't think they've totally excluded African artists......i think they are headlining these big names for publicity...... if there's no african artists, we'll boycott the concert! Ok, maybe not.

NGEMA SCORES A QUARTET - FOUR WEDDINGS IN A YEAR FOR MAESTRO

Celebrated writer, lyricist, composer and director Mbongeni Ngema (54) will marry four wives next year.
Ngema says he is not married at the moment, but he has three fiancées and has just acquired a fourth .
His latest addition is the adorable Ukhozi FM afternoon drive-time host Nonhlanhla Buthelezi (34), popularly known as Mroza.
Ngema, the creator of the musical Sarafina, will also be marrying Nompumelelo Gumede, Saleha Nxumalo and Cat Mponza.
Speaking to Sunday World yesterday, Ngema said he would marry his four brides at separate wedding ceremonies next year.
The dates have not yet been confirmed.
The ageing Ngema says he does not like the term polygamist.
He prefers “multiple marriage” because the term polygamist was introduced by white people to degrade black culture.
He says: “Our forefathers had more than one wife and there were no problems, as long as they treated them well.
“There is nothing wrong with it. It goes with the joys of being a man.”
Speaking on behalf of Mroza, her spokesman Wiseman Sondezi says Mroza does not mind sharing her man with three other women. Sondezi says she understands that a man becomes a man by how many wives he has.
“She knows that in Zulu culture a man is allowed to have many wives,” says Sondezi.
Sunday World has learnt that Ngema and Buthelezi’s families are negotiating ilobolo for her.
He brags that his wives- to-be are aware of each other and they don’t have a problem.
He says the key is to tell them the truth and make them understand.
Ngema also encourages other men to be bold enough to tell their partners if they want to have more wives. He says it’s not cheating if they know about each other.
“The truth shall set you free, so it is better to communicate with your wives and make them understand,” says Ngema.
He has planned white weddings for the quartet of Ngemas-to-be.
Sondezi says: “Obviously Mroza is going to have a big wedding next year.”
An uncompromising traditionalist, Ngema has previously had three wives at the same time: Johannesburg Development Agency’s project leader and now State Theatre CEO Xoliswa Ngema, who has since divorced him; another ex, budding actress Cebisile Mpungose, who was 16 years old when she married him in 1990; and former Generations actress Leleti Khumalo.
Ngema and Khumalo are divorced. They tied the knot in 1992 at a glittering albeit private wedding ceremony at eNhlwathi, near Hlabisa in KwaZulu-Natal.

I read the story, this Lale woman is seeking attention. She says she loves her husband & blah blah blha but she still talks about his "dirty" ways to us.. How does she think she will fix her marriage if she goes around bad mouthing her husband. mfxim!!
