okay, here is my second season recap of Home Affairs and as in the last recap, I've unfortunately missed a few episodes (do not know what is wrong with my Thursdays - if not too tired, am sick or chased away by the rats in the lounge. okay the rats episode only happened once - i was too scared to share the lounge with rodents).
Enough about my apologies.
So Cherise has been asked to move in with the shopowner (you will excuse me i am bad with recalling character names). And without wasting any time she was already bringing boxes to her new home on condition that she will stay at the cottage (yeah right?)
the shopowner's brat daughter was unimpressed so to get back at her dad she brought a scary looking boyfriend home who's much older than her. They went clubbing and the guy came back with bruises from a fight he had with some dudes at the club.

The head of the family of the Recession-hit family - who were loosing all thier material possesssions - cleaned the entire family out with a gun before turning the gun on himself. the youngest son survived, with help from the maid. the following day the maternal granny came to fetch him and now the former convict-turned maid has to find a new job for herself.
you could tell by the way she was reassuring her child that all will be well that she was actually trying to convince herself that she will be able to pick up the pieces.

Thabani and Vuyo parted ways - he left with a sore heart that one of his student was the victim of family violence that he couldn't prevent. Vuyo might have to save one little girl from such abuse from home.
She has discovered that one of her trainees may be in danger after the girl pee'd on herself and became violent towards a boy during practice. the mother of the girl seems to be protective of the abuser.

Ntshepe and fiance made a special request for makoti to kotisa before the wedding as she won't be able to do so because of work obligations after the wedding.
The family agreed and the poor girl dubbed MaWilson had to plaster floors with cow dung ... i forgot what this process is called in Sepedi, cook for the elderly, serve them kneeling as part of go kotisa. but at the end the parents were impressed and let her go.
Meanwhile the senior Mawilson is learning african wedding songs and steps, much to the delight of BabWilson, as he watches his wife fail to do the simple moves.
Katlego and Benjy are still pretending that there is no connection between them, while planning a shower and desigining the invitations.
