When Steven Kovacs (Matthew Broderick) moves into a new apartment, he tries to slip his cable guy, Chip (Jim Carrey), $50 to install the movie channels for free. But Chip is not like other cable guys. He doesn’t want Steven’s money, he wants his friendship – and he won’t take no for an answer.
Soon he’s manipulating Steven’s girlfriend, engineering his arrest and causing havoc at his parent’s house. But while Chip will go to any lengths to maintain their friendship, just how far will Steven have to go to end it?

Big Daddy
On: Sunday, 25 April at 20h30
Sonny (Adam Sandler) is a carefree, under-achieving slob, living off a meagre lawsuit award and lacking any serious career motivation. In a misguided attempt to impress his ex-girlfriend with some new-found maturity, he adopts five-year-old Julian. But, faced with the challenges of sleep deprivation, bed-wetting and Barney, Sonny takes a decidedly unorthodox approach toward fatherhood.
Only when Social Services threaten to take away the son he has grown to love is Sonny finally forced to face up to the responsibilities he has avoided for so long.
Co-starring Joey Lauren Adams (Chasing Amy) and Steve Buscemi (Fargo), and directed by Dennis Dugan. (1999)
