2. Rebecca Malope-
Uyicwele
(pardon my spelling if its wrong, you cant blame a Pedi girl for trying)

=it reminds me of all the blessing that God continues to give even though i continue to sin and do wrong, this is one gospel i love to sing and dance to when I feel praising Him.

3. Lemar-It feels right

=if you have being in love once then you ll understand how I relate to this song,i wish to dance to it with a future husband I still have to find.  e nkotla ka gare pina e and it gives me hope that true love exists.  it also reminds me of that wonderful feeling of loving and being loved. *sobs*

4. Eminem-Stan

=i love the creativity behind the song

5. Ringo- Kum Na Kum

=this is the one i play in tribute to all the people that have made a positive impact in my life, those that stand by me and continue to love and support through the ups and down.  i will always cherish them

I'm not sure I will be able to think of 10 but here goes.

In no Particular order

1. India Arie- Brown skin
No better way to tell a person that you love them so much that you just cant explain it.

2. Lionel Richie- Still
I'm a hopeless romantic sometime

3. BOP (Brothers of Peace)- Revolution
i just love the ladies voice. Very unique

4. Bongi Dube- Not sure of title but goes like this.
"Angimfun'omunye ofana nawe, ngifuna wena qha"
Doesnt matter of many difficulties we go through in relationships there will always be that one that we just want, regardless.

5. Siphokazi- Not sure of title but goes like this
"Ukuqhala kobulumko ukusaba uyehova"
What more wisdom can one have?

6. TACC youth choir- Ndiza kuwe bawo ( Our church choir)
It's a beautiful song. It says people have spoken about me, ridiculed me and have said I'm worth nothing. Then I came to you Lord and you healed my wounds. My life was a mess and you picked me up and cleaned me and gave me life.
It's a very comforting song. My pick me upper!!! It takes me to a place in my heart where no man can enter.

7. Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey- Endless love.
This is our song (hubby and I). I know it's cliche but I just love it. When we play the CD we sing at the top of our voices and I will hold my phone at his mouth and pretend it's a microphone while driving. I'll be doing my best impersonation of Mariah Carey.

8. Jill Scott- He loves me
This song just describes how much I feel loved. I just love being loved by him. And to this day this cologne/aftershave still gets me. I could just sniff him the whole day and not get tired. lol

9. Bebe Winans- Do you know him/ This song
A constant reminder to myself that I really do not know the Lord. Everytime something good/bad happens in my life I'm reminded that I do not know him. I do not fully understand how powerful and great my Lord is adn how much I just love him.

10. Michael Jackson- Speechless
I just love it. No particular reason. it's my quite song. when I'm not inthe mood for noise

This is cool...10 that i can think of ryt now....and i'll quote some of the defining portions of the songs for me.

1. You'll come- Hillsongs
I wanna quote the whole song, so ill quote nothing....:-)

2. Stained glass masquerade - Casting crowns

Beautifull song, the chorus: Are we happy plastic people...Under shiny plastic steeples(facades), ...With walls around our weakness. And smiles to hide our pain? But if the invitation’s open...To every heart that has been broken....Maybe then we'll close the curtain....On our stained glass masquerade...

3. The dessert song - Hillsongs
This is my prayer in the desert, when all thats within me feeels dry. this  is my prayer in my hunger and need, My God is the God who provides......This is my prayer in the harvest. When  favor and providence flow. I know im filled to be emptied again, the seed i recieved i will saw

4. The girls song (does anybody hear her) - Casting Crowns
Wow, this song...mxi..the video tells the story even better, but here goes the chorus: Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see? Or does anybody even know she's going down today?...Under the shadow of our steeple (facades), With all the lost and lonely people, Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me ....Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see???

5. Welcome home - Brian Litrel
hard to quote...this song was just written for me and its relevant all the time.

6. Im in over my head - Brian Litrel
The chorus says: Im in over my head, im right where i wanna be. im so lost within your love, the love that always covers me. So high so deep so wide. A strong and cleansing tide. My soul has found a place to rest...im in over my head...:-)

7. Unchained - Riccardo
this is Riccardo of i love you daddy fame....The entire album is awesum

8. I hope you'll dance - The Gladys Night version
I just love it, from the first word to the last and today im in the spirit of singing it the whole day...*singing* "...i hope you'll never loose your sense of wonder.....when you get your fill to eat, always keep that hunger...may you never take one single breath for granted...God forbids that love, ever leave you empty handed...I hope you still feel strong when standing by the ocean...Whenever one door closes i hope one more opens...Promise me that you'll give FAITH a fighting chance...And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance...I HOPE YOU'LL DAAANCE....i hope you'll dance....".....

9. We are the world - The youtube verson
The song epitomises the essense of the words "we are the world". I think Michael Jackson would be proud. And i am in awe long tym.

10. Love the way you lie - Eminem and Rihana
its just very very intruiging...and i am very fond of Marshal Mathers, wihs i can give him a hug....a tight squeeze after which he cries out all the hurt he has been thru, and then maybe he'll stop cursing and just give out good lyrics, as good as they are without all the cursing. *where did this come from*

Just to add: michael buble is just amazing!!!!

Here is my top ten:

1. Siphokazi: Ubuntu bam. The lyrics of the song says it all, " thuto, chelete, maemo ha se botho, botho ba ka ke maikutlo, monahano le lerato" This is the song that reminds a person to be humble irrespective of your wealth or education. Very beautiful song, and Siphokazi is a very humble soul. Love her to bits.

2. Lira: Ngiyazifela. The first time i heard this song I was single and it made me all warm and fuzzy inside, I still hope that I would find somebody who I can sing it to and mean every word. * sigh*

3. Lemar: Feels good. This is such a beautiful song, when he sings it, he just makes me want to feel everything that he is feeling. It reminds me of an ex. I remember how good i used to feel when i was with him, when i was in arms, everything was just perfect, it felt like the whole world did not exist, it was just me and him. Even though things did not end well between us, I still crave that feeling of being safe and at peace in his arms.

4. Letta and Caiphus Semenya: Music in the air. This song just makes me want to get up, grab a partner and dance the whole night away.

5. Gladys Knight: The wind beneath my wings. This song just describes the relationship I have with my grandfather, no matter how angry he makes me, I just know that he is content to let me shine even if it is sometimes at his own expense. Whenever I feel like i cant fly anymore, I just know that he will always be that wind that helps takes me higher. I just cry  when I look at him now and c how frail he is because of ageing, coz I honestly cant see myself flying without him

6. Michael Jackson: Speechless. Those who have had an encounter with the holy spirit/ God, knows how it feels, there is absoultely no words to describe the experience. It really leaves a person feeling humbled. The whole encounter just surpasess any human comprehension, it is one of the most beautiful experience that one has to feel in order to understand, really supernatural.

7. Alicia Keys: Try sleeping with a broken heart. Those who have been there knows how it feels like, In those moments a person just wishes that they can stop feeling, just switch off and never feel ,ever again. Thank God it passes.

8. Cece Winans: Mercy said no. I know and understand that we are here simply because of his mercy and grace, but we only get to appreciate it more when we have faced death/sin on the face and survive by miracle.

9.Beyonce: Listen: I sing this song at the top of my voice when i feel like I have given people a room in my life but they have taken over, I sing it to reclaim it.

10. Brenda: Life is going on... Indeed life is going, it does not stop just because you are feeling lost, rejected, or nursing a broken heart.

my nr 1 song - toni braxton "yesterday"
i'm loving it, going thru the rollercoaster ride of a breakup as well as the conflicting emotions of keeping the breakup broken up, if that makes any sense. so sometimes i feel positive in saying he is so yesterday and other times i just want to crawl back in time...

ah FK...the song i desire for Ntate Arrow to sing for me in future is
Brian Litrel - Grace of my life.....i listen to it and im like his wife is so blessed, you can tell he wrote it for her...goes like this:
Its too good i have to just put the whole song up here and hope the brothers will be inspired  and look at their wives as blessings..amen! and for the wives to live lives worthy of this kind of a song...virtuos women!

I lie awake so often at night
With something to read or something to write
In the silence my mind is free
To think of the ways that God has blessed me

It's easy to see how He's been so kind
Any proof I might need is right here by my side

You are the grace of my life
So tender, so undeserved
Hard to believe you're my wife
Even harder to put what I feel into words
If I need evidence God is good
Just looking at you is enough
You are the grace of my life
For you grace my life with your love

Love that is pure, so faithful and strong
You forgive me when I do you wrong
I've seen in you time after time
A picture on earth of love so divine

Oh, I am amazed for how can it be
That someone like you would love someone like me

You are the grace of my life
So tender, so undeserved
Hard to believe you're my wife
Even harder to put what I feel into words
If I need evidence God is good
Just looking at you is enough
You are the grace of my life
For you grace my life with your love .....

And i wanna be worthy of such a song too...

In no particular order...

Whole again (not sure though)
Spice Girls (I think)
It reminds me of my sister, every time I hear it her voice comes back, her life, the ways she loved it, I even hear her singing it.
The chorus of the song goes:
Looking back to where we first met,
I cannot explain and I cannot forget,
Baby you're the one,
You still turn me on,
You can make me whole again...

Time to grow...
Lemar.

I love/Stay with you...
John Legend.
I actually loooooove John Legend and all his songs!

Giving myself over...
Jeniffer Hudson.
Every time I hear it play I think of my man because he loves it.

Lesson learned...
Alicia Keys.
It just speaks to me, it's not about what life throws at you but about how you react to it and move on after all...

As we lay...
Kelly Price.
It's a cheating song that for no particular reason,  my friends and I love and  always sing at the top of our voices when it plays...

Spirit...
R Kelly.

Sala le nna...
From kopelo ya difela ya kereke ya UCCSA
It's a comfort song, pleading to God to come be in one's presence because those who  were always with one/there for one are no more. It's a sad song but for some reason, a personal prayer of mine to just invite God over.

Still...
Tamia.

Awu dede...
Lebo Mathosa.
Reminds me of my crazy years at tertiary...
