Hmm....i'm first here. Can't wait for tonight to begin

Ria
10 Jul 2011 18:50

And Jangu Jangu is being sang badly in the background :-)

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 18:50

Tonight's show i mean. By the way what's the nothing both kim and lomwe yapping about?

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 18:51

Yeah@ria i'm sure to calm Sharon's nerves

Ria
10 Jul 2011 18:53

@Nomwe... that's what I was just saying on the other thread. Lomwe and Kim have such weird conversations. They just say random things without responding to each other. I can't even listen to them anymore. They're perfect for each other.

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 18:54

Hey Nonwe y'all! Checking in with my Weza aura and all! LOL ....... Am wondering how many peeps will be leaving tonight?

Ria
10 Jul 2011 18:55

@Meme, I'm thinking two to go today but three would be mind-blowing!

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:00

Hey Ria, guess it depends on how many they want in the house for the final ... maybe they're not even sure yet LOL! About how many they want in the final that is ...

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:01

@meme good evening sister....i think its going to be three i just have that weird feeling

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:02

If they stick to five in the final, then 11 have to go before the final week. On the other hand, with two prizes up for grabs maybe they want a few more in the house ...

Miss2legs
10 Jul 2011 19:03

Who are the grannies in the crowd

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:04

Hey Nonwe, **wave, wave ** . Could well be! In which case I would say Karen's a shoo-in and safe and likely Sharon O because of the East African bloc.

Diamondthree
10 Jul 2011 19:05

Hey All, checking in for tonight's show.
Had to say, ive never seen Wezabel this nervous!

carino
10 Jul 2011 19:06

I don't mean to be mean but am secretly wishing that Weza would walk back into the Channel O studios to the news that her contract shall not be renewed. Just so that she'll step off a little from her high horse.

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:06

@It depends for Sharon because all she's done is cry this week

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:07

Aaaaaaaaw no, Carino!! I totally like Weza, but then we all have our favourites and pet hates, I guess ....

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:08

Lol @carino you're right that is mean....@diamond hello deary

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:08

What's with Zeus carrying Karen about

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:09

Talking about crying, saw a message somewhere that said Luclay should become a professional mourner! LOL ... Maybe he and Sharon O could set up together ...

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:11

Also saw somewhere that Biggie's still promising tricks for the last three weeks ... I wonder!!

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:11

Ik looks surprisingly good tonight except for that rope round his neck

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 19:13

Evening! Also hoping for three - the more, the betttter! Weza's gone into overdrive with how annoying she's being so holding thumbs she's a gonner.

Anyone else will be fine for the rest, just not Karen.

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:13

@meme aiye they'll make so much money doing that. Make lucy could pay those bills he was talking about yesterday. Leonel is the d.j for the night

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:14

Good evening @Tashi

Ria
10 Jul 2011 19:16

Say something Brat...

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:16

Lucy has gone to hug her. Brat can't believe it.

Diamondthree
10 Jul 2011 19:17

I think Miss P and Weza r definitely out.......okay i hope. If maybe three people are leaving, then Foodlex must follow them

Ria
10 Jul 2011 19:17

Is Kin crying tears of relief?

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:17

Kim is weeping bitterly

carino
10 Jul 2011 19:18

Someone please provide clarity as far as Kim's tears are concerned.

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:18

@ria of course she is

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:19

I think Kim was overcome or overhung ... oops, I mean still hung over!! Maybe just moved by the moment ... like to believe the best!

Diamondthree
10 Jul 2011 19:20

@ Nonwe, yeah, IK looks good! its a rare occassion so it must be acknowledged

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:20

The housemates are still in shock

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:21

And hey there, Tashi!! And no man, stop hitting on my Weza LOL! Trying to think which countries other than Ghana Alex might get ... But there again, there've been some weird country results this year!!

maddie
10 Jul 2011 19:21

tears of relief as Ria put it.

the look on wesley snipes' face was priceless and luclay goin 2 hug Karene

Ria
10 Jul 2011 19:21

Brat looks royally pissed off... especially since everyone is praising Karen. I LOVE it!

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:22

And .... drum roll ... ta-ra, ta-ra, our Ernest and Young moment!!

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:22

lol @meme. Ik better tell karen she's safe last...that is if she is.

carino
10 Jul 2011 19:22

Definitely Alex and Weza. Then if Biggie decides to kick three, then Miss Peo also should be thrown in there. Can't believe I'm not rooting for Sharon's eviction.

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:23

Too true, Ria!

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:23

Miss P first to go ...

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:24

miss p? I doubt it. Its too early.

maddie
10 Jul 2011 19:24

miss p paid the price for Alex's mistakes

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:24

Miss P's actually looking good tonight I think ... very zoosh! She seems to be taking it well.

Diamondthree
10 Jul 2011 19:24

Kim and Lomwe r drunk, theyve been drinking before the show

Ria
10 Jul 2011 19:25

Shame... Miss P grew on me a bit. And Kim needs to get her *bleep!* together...

maddie
10 Jul 2011 19:25

i think Kim is sloshed bathong

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:26

Aaaaaaw, I always feel for them, each and every one ... no matter what, etc

maddie
10 Jul 2011 19:26

i saw some1 lookin like Miss P's dad when the amplied dancers were on stage

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 19:27

Miss P to IK: "I'm a game player and this a game."

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:27

My decoder just chose the worst moment to rescan

Diamondthree
10 Jul 2011 19:28

So hope three r going
@ Carino, me too, dont wanna see Sharon O leaving today

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 19:29

I can't believe they nominated Miss P for her shenangans with Alex - you'd think they would have had a good laugh about it.

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 19:30

@ Nomwe - that sucks!

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:31

Missed Alex's reaction. Did anyone else see how he took the news?

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:31

@Tash tell me about it

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:32

Arggggggggh, Nonwe! Slap it and evict it ...

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 19:32

@Ria, ja me too - her and Alex did something on the show no-one's ever done before - which is cool.

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:33

lol@meme. I sure will.

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 19:33

@Meme - no I missed was to busy partying here, ha!

*hands everyone some booze for max impact on the results*

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 19:34

Sharon O''s seeing it all through one eye only.

maddie
10 Jul 2011 19:34

the crying cracks me up

shuu
10 Jul 2011 19:35

by the end of this show Kim would be dehydrated honestly

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:36

i guess peo's acomplice, has been evicted with her.

maddie
10 Jul 2011 19:36

if a third housemate is leaving weza is a goner

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:36

i guess peo's acomplice, has been evicted with her.

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:36

Oh wow! Now Alex ... With Karen leaving herself in the mix, I thought it might be difficult for him to nail enough cross-country support ... Nonwe, hope your decoder's recoded by now ...

Ria
10 Jul 2011 19:36

Someone needs th throw a alcohol-ban fuse at Kim...

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 19:36

Ha, Shuuu - too true!

Sharon = saved.

Alex = WHACKED.

carino
10 Jul 2011 19:38

Kwaaaaa @ the dehydration. Karen should say to her again, bitch, please!

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:38

Agree, Maddie ... but at least I (that's just me, of course LOL) will feel better that Alex and Peo left before her!!

shuu
10 Jul 2011 19:38

i think there wil be a third evictee. its still early

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:39

Yeah @meme....thanks for asking

maddie
10 Jul 2011 19:40

alex is hot minus the hair cut

Ria
10 Jul 2011 19:40

Alex looks relieved. I'm shocked there's more than eating in his highlights reel :-)

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:40

At least there'll be enough done to go round now.

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:43

Sharon O and Weza looking stunning in red!

carino
10 Jul 2011 19:43

Weza should sooooooo GO!

Ria
10 Jul 2011 19:44

"I'm feeling all the women, but I felt something special for Wendall"... what Foodlex really wanted to say :-)

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:46

Is Ik that tall? Why is he always 'dwarf-ing' everybody?

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:46

LOL @ Ria!! You really think?

carino
10 Jul 2011 19:46

The position Weza is on right now reminds me of when Ernest got up to make a cup of tea, only to be told she has 60 seconds to put it down. LOL. I still can't get over that. Too funny

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:47

Errrrrrr, Nonwe ... maybe the others are just short?!!

Ria
10 Jul 2011 19:48

Adios Weza...

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:48

Weza is gone.

carino
10 Jul 2011 19:48

Ohhhhhh.....thank you JESUS!!!

maddie
10 Jul 2011 19:48

moloi wa tsamaya

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:48

Oh noooooooo, Weza's gone! At least I don't really have to vote again this season LOL ...

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:49

Lucy doesn't give a *bleep!* and karen is weeping.

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:50

Oh really @meme. Karen doesn't want to let go

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 19:50

LOL @Meme - it's always something of a relief when that happens.

Weza's "energy" has 60 seconds to leave the house.

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:51

Hanni is weeping, kim is weeping

Ria
10 Jul 2011 19:51

@Nomwe, expected more of a reaction from Lucy. What's going on?

These dancers are scaring me...

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:51

Hanni is weeping, kim is weeping

carino
10 Jul 2011 19:51

Good Riddance to Bad Rubbish. Aura se voet!!

maddie
10 Jul 2011 19:51

the facial expression on the amplified dancing boyz - haikhona, some things r just reserved 4 the bedroom

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:52

Hanni is weeping, kim is weeping

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 19:54

LOL Tashi – @ Weza's "energy" having 60 seconds to leave the house! I knew if it was three she'd likely go ... love the girl, though.

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 19:55

Me too @ria

Ria
10 Jul 2011 19:56

No clothes... Karen... no problem

Miss2legs
10 Jul 2011 19:56

Lol! B @ karen holding on to Weza till the gurds took her away

maddie
10 Jul 2011 19:56

she gained so much weight

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 19:57

Are there still 13 to go?!? It feels like at least 20 have left already.

Ria
10 Jul 2011 20:01

Brat has exited the scene quickly...

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 20:02

Don't know if anyone else picked this one up ... you know how they name the couples: LoHan, LoKim, etc, saw one for Alex and Miss P the other day: MissAlex!!

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 20:02

As Weza's aura leaves the house sucked into silence and "sadness" - for about two seconds. Within a few hours all will be forgotten and no-one will mention any of the three again.

NB questions now ringing:

How's Wendull managed to cling-on as long as he has? I suppose it's what cling-ons do.

What will Lucy cry about next?

Why doesn't Vina change the colour of her sideburns?

Will every housemate leave Karen out of the nominations this week?

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 20:04

Tashi, if they leave the final week at five peeps, four will have to go next week, and four the following week. If they expand the 'finalists' to seven, it means three for the next two weeks – according to my reckoning.

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 20:08

That makes sense Meme - reckon its how it'll go. Will be cool - nice to have Big evictions every week now.

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 20:09

LOL at Vina's sideburns!! Tashi, the other week Wendall got three country votes. I was stunned. Seems to be the eye candy factor!

Tashi
10 Jul 2011 20:10

Karin's post analysis on it all: "I told Big Brother I don't tink with my head, I tink with my heart."

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 20:10

Karen has brought all the brats and bores back to earth. The house is still in a constant state of shock

Ria
10 Jul 2011 20:10

@Tashi...Wendull needs to eva walk his way back home asap. Damn, he had two women fighting over him this morning and he just fell off to sleep. What a BORE!

I don't think Vimbai will be able to replace herself with Karen tomorrow... it'll look too bad after Karen's non-save. Nominations tomorrow are going to be mighty interesting.

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 20:10

I definitely think Karen's going to be a winner, but can't, for the life of me, yet anyway, even speculate on who the second winner might be!!

Ria
10 Jul 2011 20:13

@Meme J... totally agree with you. And if it's Brat or Bore, how awesome would it be if Ik tells them that their prize has been converted to 200 000 Zim dollars :-)

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 20:19

LOL Ria, you have a wicked sense of humour!

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 20:21

Just wish they would put the country votes up more quickly! Still can't find them anywhere ... Eish!!

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 20:21

HOW AFRICA VOTED Karen came out top of the standings with eight country votes, and Sharon O got three. Here's how Africa voted: Karen: 8 country votes (Rest Of Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa, Nigeria, Namibia, Mozambique, Angola) Sharon O: 3 country votes (Uganda, Malawi, Kenya) Weza: 2 country votes (Tanzania, Ethiopia) Alex: 1 country vote (Ghana) Miss P: 1 country vote (Botswana)

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 20:25

Thanks, Nonwe! You're a star ... as ever!! ............. Tanzania seems to be the real wild card this year. During the final Heads eviction, Tanzania voted for Vimbai. Think Ethiopia voted Weza coz she and Hanni have been good friends since day one. Angola?!!!

WhiteSockGirl
10 Jul 2011 20:27

The Angolans voted Karen in or out????

Ria
10 Jul 2011 20:29

Thanks Nonwe.. Damn, Angola wasn't feeling Weza's energy! I wonder how Brat would feel if she heard that Karen got Zim's vote.

Thanks guys@WSG since English isn't a first language for them i think they voted out @ria Brat who just hang herself

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 20:34

@meme...tanzania's don't just care. Since they have no rep they're just voting anyhow. Bore is scared for his big brother life

Ria
10 Jul 2011 20:36

Jangu Jangu time

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 20:43

As usual @Ria

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 20:43

As usual @Ria

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 20:44

@Nonwe, don't quite catch the "Bore is scared for his big brothers life" ??? ..... Also see Botswana lost South Africa's vote this time round. ..... @Ria, also wonder what Brat wld feel! Previous evictions, they voted for Wendull over her ... which I have to say I found a bit strange, unless most BBA voters in Zim are MMD rather than Zanu-PF!

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 20:45

Brat now thinks that biggie is cheating

Meme J

Hovito
10 Jul 2011 20:46

People are damn paranoid today. Now it's sinking in just how popular Karen is. Vina looks shell shocked coz she knows 9jas vote is definitely going to Karen. Vimbai is panicking because now she can't vote for Karen and can't replace herself with Karen because it'll be an unpopular move with Africa. At the same time, she can't do what Karen did coz she now knows it might backfire. Eish. Tough. I think Karen will win. I think Hanni will be the second winner just because shes the least offensive of the remaining housemates.

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 20:48

Brat now thinks that biggie is cheating

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 21:00

Thanks, Nonwe. Missed that ... what was her reason. I mean why does she think Biggie is cheating? ....................... @Hovito, it just occurred to me that if Sharon O makes it to the final however many, she could be in with a chance if the East African bloc sticks with her. Hmmmmm, just wondering ...

Hovito
10 Jul 2011 21:03

Meme, she thinks Biggie is cheating based on Munyas loss to Uti. She says Munya was up for nomination a million times and survived, yet he lost the final to Uti. To be honest that was a bit fishy if you think about it.

Ria
10 Jul 2011 21:06

Karen and Bore at it again...

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 21:06

As much as i would love it if karen wins i think it would be ok for her to lose mainly for the reason that Nigeria would validated from crappy talks from people like Brat. That's my opinion.

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 21:09

What was the fight about @Hovito

Hovito
10 Jul 2011 21:11

@Nonwe, you mean the fight between Karen and Vimbai? It's over WenDULL I think

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 21:12

What was the fight about @Ria. Lucy is telling Karen that the rest of the house must not see them together....he said that its not safe. He's telling her to leave him but he's holding her hand not to go.

Nonwe

Ria
10 Jul 2011 21:14

@Nonwe. It's the continuing fight from this morning. Karen tried to confront Vimbai again and Vimbai got back on her high horse, saying that she will be civil to Karen as a housemate but they are not friends. She says that she doesn't like Karen and they are neeighbours so she can get Wendell any time she wants.

Luclay told Karen to leave it alone because Vimbai has got a small heart.

NOw Karen is going after Vimbai again...

Hovito
10 Jul 2011 21:15

"If Wendall doesn't want you it's not my fault sweety" - Karen to Vimbai. lol. Ja neh.

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 21:17

@Hovito, I didn't think it was fishy, Uti beating out Munya. You can be up for nomination how many times, but the only time that counts is the final vote! So many permutations enter into an eviction scenario, most importantly the make-up of the rest of the eviction mix on any given week. ............... There was one week Miss P was up and she got 10 countries, tonight one (her own). Also, for example, I may vote for Karen this week, and Weza the next, etc, etc.

Tilli
10 Jul 2011 21:18

There is no way Angola voted for Karen, this just mean that Nigerians are back to their old ways of rigging the votes...   Angola voted for Weza everytime when she was up, now all of a sudden they dont understand english, they dont understand the game? pls cut the crap...

Jemedarii
10 Jul 2011 21:18

@ Nonwe: whats up with da 3x msgs?

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 21:20

@Nonwe, I don't think there's any stopping Karen! IMO. Since they announced that there'll be two prizes this year I've kind of half wondered if early trends didn't show that Naija would be a strong contender again this year, and that they - Biggie producers - wanted to defuse the possibility of three Nigerians in a row. Hence two US$200 000 prizes. Just a thought.

Hovito
10 Jul 2011 21:22

Ja Tilli, there's something fishy about BB recently. Have you noticed how IK always says "can you confirm that the envelope contains the correct name?" They're supposed to say "can you confirm that the name in the this envelope recieved the least number of votes" Subtle difference. 9ja is a huge market for BBA so theres alot of pressure from advertisers to enure a 9ja contestant goes as far as possible. Thats my theory. Nothing against 9ja, thats just the way I see it. I mean Kevin? Really?

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 21:23

@Tilli, I also find the Angolan vote strange, but there've been some very odd results all round this year!! That being said, I think Karen is well liked across Africa. In Namibia there's even a #teamKarenNamibia.

Hovito
10 Jul 2011 21:27

@MemeJ, Yeah, thats the sad thing...this year Karen deserves to win, so the cheating by BB is pointless.

Jemedarii

@ Tillie: Ur very right and i agree with u. U know, i also wondered how TZ voted 4 da popular munya last yr against mwisho. Like i once suggested, either u guys gather all dem nigerians around u and burn them or just tell bb to pls keep dem from da show. Just trygn to suggestn a solution. lol.

10 Jul 2011 21:32

Jeme my phone's network is messing up. As far as i know nigeria should just lose so that this rigging ish would just stop. That's my opinion... I don't care if karen deserves it. That's my own opinion.

Jemedarii
10 Jul 2011 21:32

Dis is da part i luv da most - all da conspiracy theories, innuendos, insinuations but zero evidence. Oh i know, da md of mnet is from nigeria. Pls keep da theories coming...

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 21:32

@Hovito and @Jemedarii, it also depends on how intensely engaged fans in a particular country are ... Also, there are large expat communities from certain countries in other countries. Last year Namibia, which has a substantial Zimbabwean community, voted consistently for Munya. Even over our own housemate. Have to fess up that I was an Uti fan!! *ducking and hiding*! LOL ...

Nonwe
10 Jul 2011 21:43

Lol @meme. As much as i would love it for Karen to win again...i think it would be better if she lost and as for the Munya-Uti saga.....i think both countries rigged it because Lerato, Sheila and Mwisho didn't get their individual country votes which was so wrong. So i think Uti's fans were just way too determined than that of Munya. But then again Karen should lose. I think they should give her prize to Hanni.

GROOVY
10 Jul 2011 21:47

Angola didnt vote for Bruno when she was up, they also didnt vote for Tatiana when she was up before the final week, so there is a pattern of them not voting housemates they feel in one way or the other have mis-represented them . That said, it could have also been rigged and all the countries are guilty of rigging not just 9ja. In my opinion, let the best riggers win

Jemedarii
10 Jul 2011 21:52

@Nonwe: are u guys suggestn dat mnet rig? Oh my God... i really luv dis part of da show honestly. Guys, why not give da money to da most boring hm? Or maybe to da hm dat has put on da most weight? Why give it based on cntry?

Hovito
10 Jul 2011 21:53

@Nonwe, no man. Why should Karen suffer for BB's greed? Hell no. Karen must win the moola. But I wish they'd stop the rigging. It's getting ridiculous now. @Groovy, Bruno lost out because Angolans misunderstood the rules. Those days you voted for your least favorite housemate. As for Tatiana, of course they had to vote her out! lol

Ria
10 Jul 2011 21:53

Shame, now I know why Bore is walking so much. Brat told him to trade one of his IPODS in for a DVD player and he said, "eish, that's food for a whole year"...

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 21:56

@Nonwe, I think from about halfway through the show (All Stars), it turned into an Uti-Munya showdown and it's possible that in countries that thought their housemate was unlikely to win a lot of people decided to back one of the 'big guns'. Personally I like to vote for the person rather than the country, so peeps who try and swing the SADC stick at me get no joy LOL! I also do the country thing on occasion. I refused to vote for Jossy this year coz of his attitude, non-performance; on the other hand, I have voted for Bernadina because I think she really tries to bring it – even if it's with mixed results, and to the annoyance of peeps like WSG!!

Hovito

I feel sorry for whoever's gonna lend Karen some clothes. Those shirts are coming back stretched to hell.

Jemedarii
10 Jul 2011 22:04

Does any1 have proof of all these theories or these are simply opinions?

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 22:05

@Jemedarii, it's not technically about a country winning. Housemates don't represent their countries. I think the fans, more than anything, make it into a country showdown. Have to say, though, that the year that really baffled me was the year that Kevin won. Still can't believe that Eddie from Namibia got only one country vote! Truly thought it would be a tight race between him and Kevin.

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 22:06

Opinions and theories!!

Hovito
10 Jul 2011 22:08

@Jemedarii, how are we supposed to have proof when BB is a closed system? We have no idea how the voting really works. We can only speculate on the patterns we've been seeing recently.

Jemedarii
10 Jul 2011 22:15

thks @ meme j. Opinions and theories are ok. The prob is when dey suddnly become facts. 4 example, da wk nic went home, i cld not convince ppl dat dar was no foul play. Dey claimed dat day could not vote cos da website was down.

Jemedarii
10 Jul 2011 22:20

exactly my point @ hovito. specultn is ok, but when u say sometin like "bruno lost out becos angolans misuntd da rules" den u sound like u know dat 4 a fact. What if dey voted da way da result came out?

Hovito
10 Jul 2011 22:26

@Jemedarii, that one is the honest truth lol. It was in the papers when it happened.

Jemedarii
10 Jul 2011 22:34

do u rembr da name of da newspsper?

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 22:39

Agree @Hovito, on Bruna, and it was reported in the media ... that was in the first BBA I think. On speculating on the patterns - that's what's been totally weird this year. Namibia, e.g., has voted for Jossy, Bernadina, Wendull, Luclay and Karen. .................... Vina got 6 country votes the first two times she was up, and two the next time. I would never have expected Wendall to get three country votes, and for Zim to vote for him over Vimbai. But I think that overall the most volatile vote has probably been Tanzania, with Botswana, SA and Naija the most consistent.

Hovito
10 Jul 2011 22:41

@Jemedarii, no. That was 8 years ago. Anyway, read this http://www.realitynewsonline.com/cgi-bin/ae.pl?mode=4&article=article3252.art&page=1

Meme J
10 Jul 2011 22:44

@Jemedarii, the thing is if you vote and there are even small consistencies, fans/viewers start to wonder .... like you send your first however many SMS votes and you get a message back thanking you for interacting with BBA; then there's dead silence when you send your next 50 votes or so, no confirmation ... So you start wondering, did they arrive ... did they go into a black hole ... did they accidentally get diverted, or did they arrive after the deadline (remember that happened one year with SA Idols)? ... It's very easy to become suspicious.

Jemedarii

10 Jul 2011 23:41

Guys my theories for why they want two winners is this 1. THEY WANT A WOMAN TO WIN 2. THEY WANT A COUNTRY OTHER THAN NIGERIA TO WIN. The truth is that if we were going to have only one winner, nigeria winning would have just been suicidal for the MD of Mnet....i still feel deep down inside of me on the final day, based on the rant of nigeria cheating, the MD of Mnet is going to spin it so that Karen loses in order to appease the fans. Mnet is a brand that wants viewer participation in order for them to make money....if the viewers want nigeria to fail...i guess they'll give it to them and to be honest, i would advice them to do so. I'm getting sick and tired of hearing cheating and rigging all the time.

MARJ1
11 Jul 2011 00:07

Lets not deceive ourselves guys this is a Nigerian monopoly. Prior to the 9ja presenter and MD the results made more sense. The only person disclaiming this is clearly Nigerian. Ive mentioned the wording of the ? to the auditors changing on a previous occasion. Karen deserves to win this year I agree AND previous rigging now costs them extra prize money as they must be worried as to how do they attract viewers if 9ja keeps on winning. If the 9ja vote was so strong why did they not win the first 3BBA shows. What has changed since the first 3 seasons and the last 2? Only the Nigerian powers that be. Jemedarii dont even bother to quote my name in your response as I am over your subjectivity and defensiveness

Nonwe
11 Jul 2011 00:23

@marj its simple.....nigeria should lose this year to clear its name...karen or no karen....the show must go on.

Let's be honest, if karen wins the money, what useful thing would she do with it? Hip implants? Common let's give the dough to people who really need it like Hanni, Zeus, Lucy (to pay those bills he's always yapping about), Millicent, Lomwe. They always talk about the money....so i think they should have it.

Nonwe
11 Jul 2011 00:38

I think big brother africa is copying too much of big brother usa where they have head of house and excessive rigging by the show's organisers. The difference between there and here is that THERE, the contestants rep themselves while HERE the contestants rep both themselves and their countries. If Biola Alabi wants to keep her job, she better not allow a nigerian win for the third time in a row....its not like its Miss World or anything where India wins consecutively and everybody mutes.

Jemedarii
11 Jul 2011 06:33

Clearly ur so objective @ Marj. Of course u know everytin - who comes from where, whose cheating and who's not, and I guess u also know when da world will come to an end. All da stuff u wrote up here are again ur opinion. That u said dem does not make dem true. Talk is cheap and any1 can talk. U Marj shld produce factual evidence dat back up ur claims. Until den maybe u shld be da one da shld not bother to quote my name.

Doesnt it bother you that Nigeria and the "Rest of Africa" always voting together.??

Jemedarii
11 Jul 2011 08:44

since u know everything, maybe u can provide da answer. See, dats da diff btw us. I don't know and so ill rather watch da show 4 laughs dan always crygn foul every yr. Maybe nigerians were not interestd in the first couple of shows. Maybe they had crappy hms and they were voted out. Heck, if i do what ur doing, maybe mnet cheated and made dar hm not to win. Maybe da new md replacd da old one cos dey found he manipulated votes. U see, we can all come up with stories and theories, it's easy. Da hard part is to provide facts to back up those stories and theories.

Jemedarii
11 Jul 2011 08:56

@ Nonwe: none of us can predict what karen will do with da money. What have each of da hms dat won done with dar money? In any case, what she does with it is her busn as long as she workd 4 it and won it. Celebs and sports men and women around da world are said to be overpd, but its dar pesa and dey can do what dey want with it. Whoever deserves da moni shld get it, not cos dar cntry has won already. Dis is not an affirmative action show.
