If you're anything like me you're going to feel a deep pang of loss at this news.
Entourage has come to an end. I didn't realise until last week when I heard that the eighth season premiered in the US for a final eight-episode wrap of the series.
Why? Those involved with the show say they feel it's time to move on. Leaving us behind, wondering what Vince and Co. are getting up to in Hollywood while we live our lives.
It's always been one of my fave things about the show - knowing they're really there, living life in Hollywood, checking in with us every season to update us on what's going on.
Over and above that feeling, I've always been thrilled by every aspect of it: Johnny's constant Drama and fragile ego, Ari's despicable treatment of everyone and how easy it is forgive him and the wild, escapist storylines.
The news isn't all glum though. Firstly, Vuzu has confirmed that they'll defs be airing the season, starting on Monday, 26 September at 21h30.
Also, there's a hott rumour that there's going to be a film afterwards. I'm not crazy about films after a series but in this case it would suit the show perfectly.
As for what the season promises: the action starts with Vince leaving rehab. You may remember that Season 7 ended with him being taken to hospital after a drug and drink binge.
Season 8 opens with him de-drugged, determined to cling on to clarity - which he needs 'cos when he gets back home he discovers that his friends have been hit by heartbreak.
Everyone except Drama who has his ultimate wish fulfilled: he's the star of a hit TV show.
