Schedule alert! On Monday, 16 January 2012, The Wild changes times from 18h00 to 19h00: on M-Net Satellite and M-Net HD.

It remains in it's 18h00 timeslot on M-Net Terrestrial.

In the week before the change: M-Net will be airing a catch-up special titled The Wild: The Story So Far. This airs on Wednesday 11 January at 20h30.

Episode 157


Jack tells Karel to let go of the past but can Tristan ever forgive Jack? Tristan wants to protect Amber but Sarah won't allow anymore lies. Has Sarah pushed her family too far?

Mogorosi successfully negotiates Lelo's magadi but alienates Uncle Whatnot. Mama Rose discovers the price of the magadi and tells Lindsay. Zintle demands payment from Isaac for her damaged top.

Episode 158


Tiro and Lelo's magadi arrangements become gossip for the community. Marang and Zintle continue to drift apart.

A humiliated and wounded Tristan finds new hope with the help of his family and sparks fly between Isaac and Zintle.

Episode 159


Tiro tries to do damage control Lelo and Uncle Whatnot. There is a new poaching threat. Kate returns to find out new information about her bridge accident.

Marang tries to piece together her failing relationship with Zintle before she goes back home. Itumeleng tries to uncover whether there is something between Isaac and Zintle.

Episode 160

Preparations for the Lebone wedding are disrupted by Uncle Whatnot's continued refusal to attend the nuptials. Marang discovers that Zintle has been keeping a disappointing secret.

The Van Reenen's continue to disintegrate with the return of Kate - until Tristan finally puts his foot down and demands his family reveal everything that they've been hiding.

Episode 161

The Van Reneen clan begins their campaign against the rhino poachers and leaves Kate out of the loop. Tiro meets Lelo's family for the first time and things get off to a rocky start.

Marang decides to discipline Zintle and Isaac is given an unwanted task by Itumeleng.

Episode 162


Tristan's frustration with the anti-poaching operation causes him to make a grave mistake. Lelo's parents and Whatnot clash over the wedding plans.

Lelo's father, Khotso still prefers Modise as a potential son-in-law and Zintle is put to work at Dinaledi.

Episode 163

Jack turns up the heat on Itumeleng. Itumeleng finds a nasty surprise waiting for him at the Van Reenen farm. Zintle starts to see Isaac in a different light.

Lelo's wedding preparations cause further tension between her and her mother and Zintle makes alterations to her boring uniform.

Episode 164


Itumeleng stares death in the face when a dangerous visitor arrives to talk business. Isaac and Zintle are becoming more and more attracted to each other.

Lelo and Ousie Gladys continue to butt heads over the looming wedding. Uncle Whatnot makes a show of goodwill at Tiro's expense.

Episode 165

The show changes time to 19h00 as from today, on M-Net Satellite and M-Net HD. It remains in it's 18h00 timeslot on M-Net Terrestrial.

Vladimir has Itumeleng's back against the wall. Tiro tries to convince a reluctant Tristan to be his best man.

Zintle and Isaac attempt to curb their feelings for each other and Uncle Whatnot bulldozes his way into an important part of the wedding plans.

Episode 166

It's the day before the wedding and everything seems to be on track - until Tiro admits he can't find a new MC and Ousie Gladys starts dispensing unwanted advice.

Jack tells Karel that they have to join forces with Itumeleng in order to save the reserve.

Episode 167


Tiro and Lelo's big day has finally arrived, and Dinaledi is abuzz with preparations for the wedding of the year.

As Tiro and Lelo prepare for their nuptials, Zintle finds herself falling into a romance of her own. Despite the happy occasion, all is not well at Dinaledi.

Itumeleng finds himself with an unwanted date for the wedding, as Vladimir uncovers Itumeleng's dealings with the Van Reenen's and assigns Itumeleng a burly watcher.

Thursday 19 January 2012
Episode 168


The wedding reception kicks off and Vladimir continues to turn up the heat on Itumeleng. Tristan discovers that Karel, Jack and Itumeleng were telling the truth about Vladimir.

Zintle is swept up by the romance of the wedding and Uncle Whatnot's love of whiskey has disastrous results.

Bernie wages war on Thandi.

Episode 169


Itumeleng is not the biggest enemy and Kate feels betrayed by her family. Lelo is determined to be a proper bride, but realizes she is not ready for children.

Itumeleng takes matters into his own hands and confronts Vladimir.

Episode 170

Itumeleng asserts himself with Vladimir, but ends up biting off more than he can chew. Isaac reveals his true feelings and Diksie has trouble dealing with Lelo's happiness.

Kate tries to win back Karel's affection.

Itumeleng, the van Reenen's, Tiro and Rossouw find themselves racing into danger as players double-cross one another in a doomed poaching sting.

Zintle struggles with personal issues and the Lebones find themselves with a new housemate after Ousie Gladys meddles in their lives.

Episode 172


Vladimir discovers a shocking secret. A confrontation between Itumeleng and Vladimir has fatal consequences.

Zintle asks for Bernie's help regarding a life-changing situation and her world falls apart when her worst fears are confirmed.

Episode 173


Lelo face the biggest challenge of her life. Tristan blames himself for the shocking events that took place and Marang struggles to keep the Lebone's together.

Isaac and Zintle fight while Kate makes a bold decision regarding her future in the Van Reneen household.

Episode 174


Tension in the Lebone house escalates when Lelo decides to put her foot down.

Bernie lets slip that Zintle has confided in her and Isaac is determined to find out what's going on.

Modise is suspicious about Itumeleng's complicity and Rossouw reveals that Itumeleng might struggle to prove his innocence.



The Wild is on M-Net Satellite and M-Net HD at 19h00 Mondays to Thursdays and on M-Net Terrestrial at 18h00.

Daily rebroadcasts are at 11h00, with an omnibus Saturdays at 16h20 and on Sundays at 07h00.

Ousie Gladys is a Keeper! She adds New Flavour to the Soapie , Most of the Characters are a bit uptight ,but she adds Spunk! Hoping to see more of Her.

Hayi shame yo wedding was boring. One lousy car for a rich boy - Qashqai nogal. And there was no vooma vooma at the wedding at all and that Uncle, very bvoring character, I don't even want to say anything about the actor Joe Mafela

Tiro's death  was so sad shame. I cried. No because I loved his character that much but it was too too heartbreaking and uncalled for. I can't imagine getting married and losing your hubby a few days later, before you can even celebrate your honeymoon. Au, nkos' yam

It should have been the bladdy Itumeleng....he gets away with a lot, im not amused anymore!!

Lighter note; Marang's screaming at the end....was bit over the top...LOL

I had no idea i was this attached to this soap as tears rolled down my eyes when Tiro was shot.  i felt so sad.  It actually felt real.  It's a pity cause i was just beginning to like Tiro and he dies.  Sorry Lelo
