Nominees for the 18th annual
South African Music Awards were announced at a shindig in Jozi this morning, with lots of pressure to improve on last year.
Last year's awards were such a fiasco they changed people's DNA so the event has a lot to prove this year. As you probably know, Randall Abrahams has taken over as CEO of the shebang and the ceremony returns to Sun City for two days of festivities, on 29 and 30 April. The headline ceremony will air on SABC1 on the 30th, starting at 20h30.
