I'm soooo so saddened by the race relation issues that transpired. Eish sassafricans. I feared for keegan and lee initially that black south sassafricans won't vote for them because of the perception that they probably deny being black (be it true for them), but I sense that Keegan would have blew up if someone said he is black, I'm suprised by the 'afrikaans' reaction. I hope they realise, and charm their way into all of us. But I'm not holding my breath, this thing is deep rooted.

I drank to much coffee and as I was trying to sleep with the telly on, I outlasted all of weirdville. Here's the lowdown of what happened as they got into bed ... NADA! RIEN! NOTHING! (with the possible exception of Jes and the book of Luke who are sleeping with their arms wrapped around each other but weren't shown getting in). Seydumb and Paranoia were particularly disappointing considering I went through to stay awake. They were in bed fully clothed, then chatted for a while. Then Seydumb planted a few (two or three short ones)kisses on her lips with both hands visible on her face as she lay on her side. The chemistry was off the charts, we're talking TK/Sheila and Jeremy/Emma levels of cloud-bursting magic and romance. They then said their goodnights and Seydumb turned and faced the opposite direction and Paranoia turned and faced the other (yes people, sleeping with their backs to each other with a visible gap wide enough to fit Ola should he return, between). After a minute Seydumb reached to the floor for something and I was mildly intrigued only for him to tear a piece of tissue and very loudly blow his nose then back to sleep. I swear I could just die from the excitement. BTW, it's now daybreak/light here in Nairobi but I don't mind because staying awake was so worth it. What an orgy.

OK, they were going on for a long time but here's a short summary. The nominees are having their hair done with Mildred and Eve sitting nearby. Then the girls start laughing at Seydumb and Eve goes off on tangent. Apparently genesis of the Eve likes Seydou story came from Edith when she told him not worry "my sister really likes you" after she brushed him off rather rudely after an incident during last week's party. She said he's stupid, laughed at his mirror obsession and dress sense and his whole persona which she called "so unattractive and a loser she would never be caught dead near. Then Zainab, with a fake innocence said: "but he's got swag", to which Eve called her and evil stirrer who's enjoying hearing them pile on him, she broke out into a laugh (Empress Z is such a riot). She then dismissed Paranoia being a stupid light-weight who thinks she's in competition with her when in actuality they're not even in the same universe and basically stated those two were beneath her deserve each other. I hope they captured it for the highlights because it was quite funny how irritated she sounded.

I don't get the Eve hate at all. Yes, she may be dull as dishwater but I find her effortlessly pretty, elegant and willowy like a model. It's like she doesn't try too hard and it all comes very naturally to her. No garish make up or tacky cloths trying hard to be sexy, nothing vulgar or desperate about her or her personality. In short, this girl, to me, oozes class. How she and Edith come from the same home is baffling. Of course no one is perfect and she did come across as sanctimonious, self-righteous, dismissive and snobbish of Seydou and Talia i.e. "I'm of a different class from such riffraff and they're not fit to polish my shoes, but they were unfair in their gossip and lies about her. No, I won't be starting an Eve fan club, but I don't see what's to hate either. I actually prefer Edith (when she drinks) for the entertainment value.
