Goal Diggerz Season 2 is ready to once again give viewers unprecedented access to the lives of pro footballers living and playing in Europe when it airs on Channel O from Tuesday 24 July at 18:30.
This time around the homegrown reality television hit series will be presented by Season 1 host Lungile Radu and new edition to the show Sthembiso 'SK' Khoza. The two dynamic presenters travel far and wide around Europe to find footballers from all backgrounds living the Pro life.
Also new on Goal Diggerz Season 2 is a VJ mix of music in each episode, inspired by the footballer who is standing centerfield at the time. This new element only adds to the action supplied by Goal Diggerz freestyle football guru, Chris Njokwana, who is on hand once again to demonstrate hotshot footballing tips and more on each show.
The first season of Goal Diggerz set the benchmark for sport/music themed entertainment, with its stunning mix of insight into the personal lives of Africa’s best football experts, footballing tips and more.
Now comes Season 2 of this popular show - and with two well-equipped presenters, a music video mix and tips for the aspiring footballer added into the pot, it makes for not-to-be-missed viewing.
Eighteen episodes - which include 15 player based shows - African and International players let Lungile and SK into their home-away-from-home to give viewers unique insight into the off-pitch lives of the elite few who make it into pro footballing.
First Lungile visits Bafana-Bafana star Bongani Khumalo while at Reading FC – on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. He is followed by Arsenal’s longstanding player Alex Song who takes time out of his busy Barclays Premier League schedule to entertain SK at his family home in London.
Add in the likes of Kenyan superstar, Victor Wanyama, who plays for Scottish mega club, Celtic FC, as well as fellow Kenyan, Johanna Omolo of Belgium Club side Beerschot FC, Algerian player Mohamed Chalali and many others and you have a season of unique football fun that is simply not-to-be missed.
