The time has arrived to see if first princess Remona Moodley has what it takes to win leggy success for South Africa at Miss World.
Remona replaces Miss South Africa Melinda Bam for the pageant following Melinda's
controversial decision to bow out of the competition without explanation. Melinda dodged queries about her decision by tweeting that she'll still be representing South Africa at Miss Universe later this year.
While Melinda gets up to whatever's keeping her so busy this weekend, Remona will be competing for a large part of Saturday (18 August).
The pageant takes place in China this year and will air on SABC3 from 13h30 on Saturday afternoon. The broadcast starts with a Pre-Event Special at 13h30, followed by the pageant from 14h00 to 16h00.
