SABC1 has ordered a second season of the reality competition show
One Day Leader and the search is on for contestants.
The series debuted on SABC1 in February 2011 with the goal of identifying and developing young and dynamic leaders who have a desire to tackle the social and economic issues faced by South Africans.
3000 people auditioned for the first season, they were narrowed down to 200 and a final six were chosen. The season was won by chemical engineering graduate Lesley Mosiamimang.
This season the series is looking for another six contestants.
Who can enter?
Anyone between the ages of 18 and 25 who feels they have what it takes to be a leader.

What to expect next
The show will narrow down the search using the initial entry forms and calls and then you'll go through a screening/audition process that includes a debate.
Only six will make it to the final show. For 13 weeks the finalists will battle it out through various tasks and challenges based on issues facing South Africa.
The six will have to motivate the public, put forward a vision for the nation and offer practical solutions. A panel of judges will interrogate their visions and viewers will vote for their chosen leader.
