2013 has so far shaped up as a big year for music. So far this year we had the return of one Justin Timberlake who just remembered that he could sing, indie rock won big at the Grammys and independent duo, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis made history on the Billboard Hot 100. We are now past the halfway mark of the year and Young Money artist, Drake, has finally announced the release date of his much anticipated third studio album, "Nothing Was The Same."
Drake announced that the album will be released on 17 September. The "tracklist" that was leaked a couple of weeks ago by his father showed that the album featured collaborative efforts with Jay-Z, A$AP Rocky, Justin Timberlake as well as the usual suspects, Lil' Wayne and Birdman. The album will feature the smsh hit, "Started From The Bottom." Excluded from the album as it seems is the song, "Girls Love Beyoncé", which borrows from one of Destiny's Child's signature songs "Say My Name."
Whether or not the tracklist for the album is fake we'll just have to waited and see. However, one thing is for sure is that come September the album will be flying off the shelves.
