isiBaya: New Couple Alert?

I've been curious about the reasoning behind Qondi featuring as a main character in the new soapie - isiBaya "Old Grudges. New Enemies."

Well... As I mentioned in my previous "predictions" it seems I could have guessed 1 thing right - Qondi may not walk down the aisle.. or rather valley in this case, with Feza la maFeza aka Fezile.

She might just be the most beautiful lady in Bhubesini, so wouldn't it make sense that the chief take her and make him his Iris?

Last night's episode hinted towards this direction... So, do you think Qondi and the chief will become an item? So, what will happen to the poor "khaphela" Fezile?

Still on isiBaya...

What are your thoughts on Thandeka and Sbusiso leaving the soapie? Was it a good or bad move?

I always thought it's a bad move, until someone mentioned that once they get married, somehow, they'll become a bore and their storyline would die out inevitably...

Aweeeee Qondiiiii hay ngekhe, bamenzani uKhumalo ngentombi yakhe not happy @ all, it will be a bit boring without Sbu and Thandeka on the Soap they r such a lovely young couple that teaches young ppl morals I liked their roles a lot they kept me smiling

I think it's a bad move, especially for Nomzamo who hasn't really solidified her acting in the industry. Or maybe she got a bigger and better role elsewhere. If they got married, they could explore the young married couples issues like one partner wanting a child and another wanting to be focused on their career, handling of money,etc.....there's so much that could've been explored

Totally agree guys, so far these two have been on "honeymoon phase".

Love your angle Vesa handling of money would be perfect, they both dont work and cant rely on their parents' money forever. Thandeka having only been with Sbu how would she handle commitment even before exploring herself with other men and still deal with pressures of marriage we all know she is a cry baby. When you get married you also marrying your partner's family they could have played around with challenges of dealing with inlaws, Thandeka no doubt is not liked in the Ndlovu family.

HEY GUYS,

Why always Vusi Kunene charectors or role we must all be scared of him,(Mr have it all) , hayi suka,, Fezile must take a stand this time, i want Fezile and Qondi together not with Bhekifa,i knw he is a Chief, but we will need some1 with experience from Ebukhosini to convince us tht Bhekifa cant have it all even if he is a Cheif.

Sbu and Thandeka, i thnk i wouldnt mind for them to stay ,, so tht Mandla can see tht Sbu is THE MAIN HEAD OF THE NDLOVU'S when Bafo is not there, and also to change the way taksi drivers thinking meaning to show them tht there is life afrt being a taksi driver,, asking them to go back to school.

But

on the other hand,, i thnk they must leave corse they are just sleeping evertime we see them on Isibaya, krkrkr,

I think the Sbu and Thandeka characters by getting married have come to the end and have nothing more to offer. I think Thandeka needed another year in Isibaya though lets hope she is not running after Generations or Isidingo.

But maybe if they were staying in the soap they would have built more on their roles without them getting married because Thandeka in the soapie is only 21 and Sbu is just 23, more complications and difficulties would still have been made out of their unmarried relationship. But we do wish them all.

For Qondi i wonder is there going to be courtship or what, because the Chief is definitely too old for Qondi compared to the well toned Fezile. Terrible year ahead of us.

Im a bit confused by the Ad of the new Isbaya, the girl who comes out of the boot is it Bhekifa's fling or Sihle (the cleaner if thats her name) and who will Zweli be with coz he seems to like both the girls.

so tht Mandla can see tht Sbu is THE MAIN HEAD OF THE NDLOVU'S, this would have been a perfect angle for Sbu. and tryna fix wat his father destroyed for the "Ndlovu" name. Mandla will destroy everything that Samson has ever worked for.

ja hey... I don't think will see Samson anytime soon vele. as for that Makoti you can tell she didn't / doesn't give *sh abt anyone but the $$ n gossip. i'm sure sooner or later they'll write off the Ndlovus coz there is no story there, especially if Sbu leaves.

Personally I dont think it is right move for Thandeka and Sbu to leave Isibaya there were many things that we still need to explore around them, marriage life. Thandeka dealing with inlaws and her and Sbu raising kids together. I will miss them

Guys rest assured Ndlovu is coming back in June that I know. Now you got me thinking is it Zanele or Sihle thought it was Sihle but no longer sure she seems to be darker then Sihle will be paying more attention on the ad.

Qondi and Bhekifa this has got trouble written all over it. Maybe Bhekifa will use his powers as a king to force Qondi into marriage I saw how he looked at her with such intensity mmmh asazi kusazoshuba ngempela.

Sbu and Thandeka once they married I dont see their roles on the she show they have had their hardship and we have learned from them that love conqueres all and there is a happy ending.

I hope we gert to see that part of the ad because I remember with s1 they never showed us that part of Thandeka, Mpiyakhe, the reporter and the taxi war.

Luyaz14 its Sihle on de ad de gal in de boot saved by Zweli then mpiyakhe arriaves....on the taxi war ad we only saw de reporter on tv de day dat guy gave mpiyakhe a lift to go home n wen he was sitting in de dining room he(mpiyakhe saw de news and stole dat guy car and headed to bhubeseni....

Sexy d- remember the part when Thandeka was walking down the road looking lost and confused and ppl running in opposite directions and the reporter in the middle of everything and Mpiyakhe took the mic from the reporter and hiz exact words were :"we the Zungus have nothing to do with this" That is the part m talking about.

@luyaz14.....I think that the storyline was somehow changed from the finality of the telenovela to give continuity to the now turned soapie.

let me start by saying im over the moon now that my Qondi will get more of a lead role*dancing*. I had my doubts when i heard that we will be getting a 2nd season but i think the story line is gonna be very interesting looking at how things are at the moment. As for Thandeka and Sbu leaving im kinda happy cause i was getting bored of them.

I feel you guys, but @Vesa does have a point... I'm not sure anymore. But maybe it's good that they are leaving whilst they are relevant. Look at the buzz created by Samson's exit, people are still in distress and want him back.

Are you being for real @luyaz14? Please don't play like that, I luv Samson, so I want him back...

You are right @qaqamba - Vusi Kunene is now typecast.

Hayi, I don't want Qondi with the chief though... but it's gonna be an interesting storyline though...
