I have been asked by
Makisto to dish to y’all, this week’s Monday World in his absence! In smiles and excitement i put up this for our lovely bloggers. This should hopefully take away those office Monday blues...
So the masses gathered at the highly-kudos J&B Met at the Kenilworth Racecourse in the Mother City this past weekend. Glamour took centre stage as all celebs, nobody’s, lovers-of-things and media execs showcased their sleek sophistication in fashion and thrill. Monday World can explicitly announce that more goss from the Met will be script-puked by
Cheesa right here. News on the street is it got filthy and wicked!
On a sad note, soccer star Jeffery Ntuka was laid to rest in a dramatic interment at Kroonstad this past Saturday. For those who find soccer a foreign concept, Ntuka is a former Kaizer Chiefs and Chelsea defender and was playing for Bafana Bafana, yes I told ya. Sunday World reports that Ntuka was stabbed to death after some serious drinking; his girlfriend who was chased away from the funeral and was spotted weeping frantically had made claims that Jeffery was violently killed by his friends because of jealousy.
Ntuka during his Kaizer Chiefs days
Ntuka’s uncle has publicly declared retaliation on the killers. We at Monday World would like to advise bloggers to meritoriously choose friends who won’t turn gangster and Mafia when the sun starts to shining on your lives.
Tragedy struck: Jeffery Ntuka
Still on soccer, former Kaizer Chiefs star Thabang Lebese is reported to be sympathetically ill in a hospital with Nothing and No-one. He has disclosed to Sunday World how stress and mistakes of the past brought about his illness. All I’m saying is most soccer players ‘live for the moment’. At the height of their careers they splash money like it grows in their backyards, think they’re God’s rare golden gifts to horny girls and ‘Plan B’ and saving/investing is only a rumour to them. He is not the only one to desperately sob for help after a failed career. Monday World would like to wish Lebese a speedy recovery, unlike the vile Sowetanlive Bloggers who stripped off the flesh from his bones after Sowetanlive reported.
Sick Lebese
Word in rumourville is that actress Tina Jaxa scored herself a tomboy. Tina (41) is reported to be hobnobbing with a hunky 28-year old model Zane Maqetuka. We at Monday World feel like Tina has had her painful share of disappointments and slaps in the love branch, poor woman deserves happiness hle, break those societal norms Tina!
Happy JaxaStill on happy people, Zahara is said to have been offered acting roles in international and national films and soapies. I read with shock as Sunday World reported that she turned these offers down. I strongly believe that if the sun shines on you, you should hella stand on it, what’s the wait for – or was she promised tomorrow? Does she have any idea how some of us would cut and sell a limb to be on a soapie? VUKA NTFOMBATANE!
I am not an actress....so says ZaharaSo Drum hunted down a desperate old frail man who claims to be Julius Malema’s father. On their issue (which I’m yet to buy) the man reveals how deprived he is, how they are living in a shack which leaks during rainy days. He is clearly crying for Juju’s financial intervention.
Juju's dadQuestion, where was he all this time? Why raise a head when Juju is now ‘somebody’? Has the roof started leaking yesterday? I just believe that most men are too quick to exercise their hard rods in the dark but cannot take responsibility when their dirty under-carpet and private actions materialise. When will men learn that having sex and leaving a child behind doesn’t in any way make you a respectable human being? It’s pathetic and spineless. He can apologize all he wants but its Juju’s prerogative to forgive him and assist thereof.
Juju - In the wrong or right for not helping frail run-away dad?
As we continue on desperate people, the over-discussed and delusional Nonhle Thema continues to wreck more havoc on twitter. The latest target of her cyber-diarrhoea is the Hip Hop producer Sean Pages.
Mouthful NonhlePages has been replying to Nonhle’s twitter bullets, which we at Monday World think it’s a low move. People like Nonhle should be ignored and left to make noise and play in the virtual thunderstorm by themselves. Silence drives them to the edge of insanity.
Attacked: Rapper and Producer Sean Pages
I must congratulate Rhythm City for keeping us glued to our screens and laughing our lungs out. Confession: I have found myself running home to catch the evil Naomi in her element every day, I hope others can learn a thing or two from the RC production…
That's all we got for you folks, a wonderful Monday and beautiful week ahead to you all from Monday World....
