It's that time of year when the horsey folk come out to do their thang at the races. The Durban July's coming up at Greyville this Saturday (5 July) and SABC3's covering it live: from 14h30 to 17h00. The afternoon's going to feature the outfits etc. as well as the actual race.
Jeannie D headlines as host, presenting from the racecourse, chatting to people, spotting fashion flops, red carpet stuff. She'll be joined by Expresso's Katlego Maboe, choreographer and socialite Somizi and sports presenter Vaylen Kirtley - they'll present from a studio, interview designers and so on .
The outfit theme this year: Bolly, Nolly, Hollywood.
Besides the live coverage, other shows will be there too. Selimathunzi, Expresso, Top BIlling will be capturing things from their different angles and SABC2 will be at the actual event - the channel has a marque at the race track.
And while all that's happening, we'll be in the thick of things to get an insider's view of it all. TVSA blogger Amanda will be at Greyville for us so keep a lookout for the gosss next week.
